Just doing some search on Stirling and found this, just released, i guess it will be announced tomorrow on the asx

Aqua Bounty tech is listed on the London Stock Exchange and has a market cap of 1.1b.

Nothing big but STI are putting alot of deals together of late.-

"LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Aqua Bounty Technologies Inc said it has entered into a strategic tie-up with Stirling Products North America Inc for an exclusive option to distribute ProVale, a highly bioactive disease management beta glucan product for salmons, in Chile.

The biotechnology company focused on enhancing productivity in the aquaculture market said it will manage the required field trials and that it will test ProVale as a replacement for antibiotics in the diets of farmed salmon.

The trials are expected to begin shortly lasting for a period of two to three months and both companies will finalise an agreement for commercial distribution, which is expected to be decided towards the end of the third quarter."

Finally some light at the end of the tunnel :-)

STIRLING PRODUCTS GETS APPROVAL TO REGISTER R-SALBUTAMOL UNDER ACT 36
IN SOUTH AFRICA
• Medical Control Council (MCC) Approves Stirling’s Application for Act 36
Registration
• Regulatory Trials to Commence First in Swine and Cattle
Stirling Products (ASX:STI) advises that it has recently received information from its current
Distribution partner in South Africa (Afgri Operations Pty Limited) that the MCC has approved
the application for R-salbutamol to be included under Section 36 of the Stock Remedy Act. The
approval means that Afgri, on behalf of Stirling Products, can now conduct the necessary trials
for registration and commercialisation under this Act rather than the more stringent MCC
process."
CEO and Managing Director for Stirling Products, Dr Calvin London indicated “This is a major
step forward for us in South Africa and takes us much closer to being able to sell product in
South Africa. The lengthy delay that has been caused while we have waited for this decision
has slowed us down considerably, but we now have a pathway forward.”
Total market potential per year for beef cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens is estimated to be in
excess of US$4.5 million.
In the letter received from the MCC, exemption from Schedule 4 of the Medicines and Related
Substances Act was granted for all applications where R-salbutamol is being used as a growth
agent. The approval stipulated only two areas where data was specifically required to support
the application; residue levels and dust control.
“While we acknowledge that we will need to do trials in South Africa for residue levels, we are
confident that this will not be an issue,” indicated Dr London.
Previous studies have demonstrated that the effective residue levels in meat from animals that
have been fed with R-salbutamol in the finishing stage, have a very large safety margin. Many
kilograms of meat, regardless of whether it is chicken, beef or pork, needs to be consumed each
day before getting close to the low residue levels that even humans with asthma are exposed to
every day.

When you give away 42 million shares at 5c, plus a free option for every 2 shares taken in the placement, - yeh, someone has taken the money an ran. Doubt he made much if anything out of it.

Best ignore STI's shenanagans! Really Useless !!

Could say a bit more but by now you will have caught on to my opinion of STI.

You reckon someone wanted out or what?

Time for management to give up on this crap.

Should of stayed with oil all along.

Pathetic.

Joslad i feel your pain.

I have held for a very long time, since the West oil days unfortunately.

Not really knowing or understanding the Bio tech sector, i have read alot of what seems very positive announcements only for the share price to do nothing.

I guess if they get their technology to market, through the help of Merial, you could see some big gains in the share price.

Time lines are the problem, not really knowing where they are at or how far to go to commercialisation is very frustrating.

Whats another year?

Cheers :-)

I don't have much confidence in this crowd anymore!

I've held quite a few of STI for sometime. I like the story, however, despite all the trials and rhetoric, they just never seem to deliver. They are signing all these dist agreements etc but nothing ever comes of it.

Whoever got those shares in the placement at 5c will be pleased. Been a while since we have seen 6c traded though.

forever hopeful!!!

Movement at the station?

Funding in place now via placement, hopefully STI will start getting a good revenue stream from PBI now.

News from Merial not too far away ragarding trails???

Cheers :-)
