Well done Wolverine...I missed the last 10c but made similar profit elsewhere with the funds released.
Like the look of AAU now looks like a similar turnaround story to me.

Gerard makes new offer of $1.10 for Lighting Corp
10:58, Thursday, December 06, 2007

Sydney - Thursday - December 6: (RWE Aust Business News) -
Directors of Lighting Corporation Ltd (ASX:LCL) have unanimously
recommend shareholders accept a new offer from Gerard Lighting
Acquisitions Pty Ltd, in the absence of a superior proposal.
Gerard Lighting's new offer of $1.10 cash for each Lighting
Corporation share is an increase of 12c per share over the previous 98c
per share offer.
The new offer will be reduced by any dividends which may become
payable during the offer period.
It is subject to a 90 per cent minimum acceptance condition.
In light of the new offer, the Board of Lighting Corporation
intends to declare a fully franked special dividend of 7c per share if
the new offer becomes unconditional.
This provides an opportunity for additional value of 3c per share
in franking credits for those shareholders who are able to utilise
franking credits.
The existing offer of 98c share will not be extended further and
is expected to lapse on December 14, at which time Lighting Corporation
shareholders who previously accepted the existing offer will be free to
accept the new offer.

halted for discussions with Gerard....

a handshake in the fair value range somewhere around $1.10 would save face for everyone.
