Hey Erichmj, great to have you ova at SS, always get a TU from myself at HC, really appreciate your effort with your thoughts n charts...

Not sure if I`m correct ...but I do recall MHM Metals saying that ALL $$$ from ALCOA will be 3 months behind from {about 6 months ago}

so that will impact the last few 1/4 reports imo , this company is a no brainer, all be it as interesting as paint drying atm lol, but very soon

it will be hold on to your hats people the market has finally woken up to the future $$$ potential from this mino of a company...{for now}..

Well what a trading day for MHM after such a positive ann , how stupid is the market wacko.gif , and good riddance to those type of traders to MME,

always someone buying the traders shares which is good to see but still wtf, my thoughts are that because there was no funding details

with the ann today maybe this is the reason for the sell down? I was disappointed not to see them myself.

Anyways long term holders have and will be rewarded in the near future with more contracts signed another plant in the US etc etc

hopefully stays at these levels now untill the end of Feb so I can buy a truckload more of these after selling an investment property.

Good luck to Investors

Good day indeed there MME, looking forward to tomorrow, not to concerned about the size of incentives/$$$ for MHM but more

interested in the info regarding location ,size of the land where the first US plant will be built and maybe who the contracts have been

signed with .

The A Alreco and Alreco trademark application has moved along in the process in the USA to being assigned to an examining attorney

on 9/12/2011 so good to see some progress since the application was first submitted on 19/08/2011...

And MHM have a track record of surprises biggrin.gif , looks like plenty going from HC so for sure will know doubt get all the goss,

just out of interest is anyone from SS going to the AGM? Strange trading going on today espcially in the oppies all but 55.5k

were cross trades yet there were only 2 in the fp`s anyways held up pretty good considering global market conditions today.

Hey there Magix66, Great to have you over here at SS, I see it as a positive to have so many down-rampers as there are with MHM,

have never had so many on the one stock before, now if these {so called expert traders} offered some credible info I would investigate

further for sure but the constant incorrect information and defamation of MHM METALS is bordering on criminal offence`s and it

would not be the first time someone has been charged and convicted with this type of offence in Australia and certainly won`t be the last.

Getting back to so many ill researched down-rampers of MHM, clearly there is a self indulgent motive for these constant negative post`s

with absolute no correct info or substance, unless they were attempting to buy more for less (they ain`t gettin mine for less than $10)

and even then I would still hold atleast 50% of my current holding`s {my own personal goal} I see no other reason to keep posting

on the stock unless thay are Guardian angels who can see the future and are trying to save our lost soul`s {I know I know laugh`able laugh.gif }

or they are lacking in any type of human contact/ass`ociation tongue.gif and most certainly need to get a life, the standard of the MHM thread over

the last few weeks has dropped to what it has been for a long long time which is a shame but as always is easy to work out the people

making real progress in a crap market or just lunch money or nothing ,anyways good luck to ALL and can`t wait for the PRESS

CONFERENNCE that we have all been for-warned about ,I mean you can lead a horse to water but ........................

Hey Mistagear,

Always good to make a profit, In the coming weeks there will be a press conference with US GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL`s regarding

some type of finanical help to construct MHM METALS CORPORATION first plant in the US, this will make major headlines here and

in the US and no chart can tell you when it is coming so good luck with your trading by the charts and who knows what else as MHM

always seems to surprise with their ann`s and the monthly update is only a couple of weeks away as well, all the best you seem to have

a system that works so keep on keeping on ....but for me this is a long term hold and retire at 40 within the next few years.

on a WORLD FIRST and GLOBAL ROLLOUT of recycling all the "CRAP" tongue.gif that the current WORLD ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY just landfills.

Very happy to have topped up at 58c,75c, & 89c {on the way down though} happy dayz have just begun.

MHM METALS CORPORATION once you click on one of the applications, I wonder who`s address it could be Bens, Johns??

to see what happens after the unknown US company team visit the Moolap site in the near future,

Also found this article about a new silicon discovery in QLD which also mentions a "possible" $500 Million processing plant being built there: ohmy.gif if its true the words spanner ,works and MHM come to mind lol....not our core activity I know but its worth knowing all
of the current info out there for investors.

Hey there MME, sure is a great post... done some searching and found this info changed from 1/4 1 2012 to 1/4 4 2011 from a meeting of Alcoa in August... no doubt this is due to MHM`s ramp up to 24 hour production which is a very positive sign IMHO.

Hey Duster , Trade through First Prudential Markets and have an app for the i-phone for iress , all live ,can view and buy and sell etc,

I would assume this app would work for the i-pad also, maybe try the FP markets website and see if that works, good luck.

Great to have you on board also Disco Stu, excellent comments as always, Just a thought but I wonder if and it wouldn`t be a bad

idea on MHM`s behalf that all FP holders get a free shares % in a spin off of the Silica {if it all works out of course} and maybe thats

what current option holders are thinking ,hence a lot of recent conversions , now I know I`m drawing a long bow here but it has crossed

my mind recently, and I`m sure all option holders would get plenty of fore warning if this was to happen but it would be a great way

for MHM to get xtra money in the bank and still look after current fp holders whilst no dilution would occur and they would get that little

bit xtra coin now rather than in 13 months, anyways just a passing thought on my behalf, umm and why 2 secretary`s!! is this for North

America or Tassie ??? time will tell.

Mate don`t worry I`m just as excited about this stock as you are, hasn`t been too much lately to talk about but todays ann is just

Awesome, and as you mentioned read between the lines and its even better again, what the sp needs is 2/3 anns to come out , Moolap

up and running with no problems, site selection for a new plant in the US,and the Silicon in Tassie, and who nows with MHM they

have a track record of surprising us with anns from left field, no lies apart from a couple of investment propertys that we own this

is our retirement fund , so much potential and so much going on, major blue sky ahead for this soon to be GLOBAL COMPANY.

Hey MME, some positive progress reports would be great about now lol ,although the market would probably

just yawn and say whatever atm , very low volume been traded across the board.

On the USA, just had a mate go over on a business trip {paid for by the US company I might add} and they are screaming out

for any type of business that they can get atm , things are tougher on the ground than what we are hearing in the media in his opinion.

This is good news for MHM as any type of investment/job creation is welcomed with open arms and wages are very very low and of

course as is common knowledge the property over there is going for a song , my mate could not believe the bargains over there, so

a great time for MHM to set up in the US if it all works out.

has come from that thread, but there is no doubt that we need some news from MHM asap, either way I`m not phased, but

would like to top up the heads more and then news to come out {in a perfect world of course lol}.

traders covering their butts, and good luck to them tongue.gif , again real $$$$ r made when impatient hand over to the patient please sell

below a $1 coz I`ll snap them up and be in the top 25 {over 3 accounts} , plenty of news to come out in the very near future.

Hey MME , Myself also in the top 40 option holders num 27 but in the other 2 accounts combined with this one would be 17th

so very happy with this biggrin.gif also holding heads but to convert oppies to combine heads I would only just make it into the top 40,

Which says a lot about the potential that plenty of others {and myself} think and believe this company has, as we know shares

are handed from the impatient to the patient and this is where the REAL MONEY is made.

Hey Duster,

Me down 2 1/2 k now lol, 18.5c is my buy in price, I spoke with a close friend of mine about this co and he had 2 worrys

{he works in the industry as a director of an unlisted co} 1st when strange sold his earlier unlisted business the gear that was

sold was in very poor condition and the rigs were and are basically pigs, #2 he is unsure of the rig being able to pull out of the

holes from approx 1500 metres + ,maybe this is why the trial hole has basically been canned?? Now this is only his opinion

but I do respect all the knowledge and experience he has, I still hold mate but just saying what I`ve been told.

I expect a rise over 17c to get rid of the recent capital raising and are surprised the sp has got this low in recent times.

Are happy to see the buyers returning today, if CKK have it sorted they could be huge there is no doubt but they need to prove

what they have first and thus far they haven`t,still waiting for this contract thay say is coming......Overdue now.

Good Luck

Share trading sounds so complicated lol , I jumped in when I did because the Dust {no pun intended smile.gif, has settled pretty much

after the ann of a capital raising and a contract is to be announced in the very near future as the company has stated, and also

the last day before a major break for the ASX so all be it risky I`m more than happy to take that risk.

Have purchased in the SMSF so no rush for the price to go up and bonus if it does, I know many people in the drilling industry

including a director of an unlisted company who produce`s parts for drill rigs and also builds them for many companys around

the world, and obviously the drilling industry is booming atm,and this includes CKK being a potential takeover target in the future.

Please explain recieved from the ASX:

Legacy has become aware of an article in the Mint Newspaper,New Delhi on Friday 8th April relating to NMDC and more specifically
to statements surrounding due diligence being conducted on Legacy by Australian legal advisors on behalf of NMDC. NMDC is a
Government of India, fully owned, state run public enterprise,It is under the the administrative control of the ministry of Steel,
Government of India.

Legacy wishes to advise the market that whilst confidential discussions have taken place and will continue to take place with NMDC
about the best way for Legacy to commence work on its highly prospective Iron Ore tenements in the Robertson Range and
Hamersley in Western Australia`s Pilbara region, these discussions are incomplete and no agreement has as yet been concluded
and may not be concluded in the future.

Thanks MME got in on open today at 13c, now the whole market knows about this article too, and the discussions of course lol.

Absolutely MME, with the ann they have all but said the Silica project will be going ahead IMO, funny and thats the reason I

started buying into MHM 18 months a go ,I thought the Aluminium story was just a bonus at the time {and what a bonus it is biggrin.gif }

Would be great to go to the Presentation but none happening anywhere except Sydney that shareholders are invited {bugger} so

hopefully someone here or over at HC can attend and give us the run down on it.

The bots are relent`less on this stock, I`ve seen lots of bots over the years but none like we have seen on MHM in recent times,

I take this as a positive sign ,one minute they put the price up next its price down lol, frustrating to watch but it will take a lot

more than that for me to part with any of my shares or oppies , like maybe $10 price I might part with half , biggrin.gif

Hey Duster,

Not yet mate but getting close, in the trading account average was $1.40 + 10c for the same amount of shares each so an average

of around 75c at a guess and the superfund was an average of $1.80 + 10c same amount of shares again average of 85c approx,

funny I was looking great when WHE was at $3.96 laugh.gif , and then I went all the way back to 4.5c puke.gif , no complaining here just

saying what the score is, very impressed how WHE is going lately especially on not that much good news but plenty of potential.

Hey Monkey Man,

Yes it could well be that RB Milestone have got it wrong/ or just the way it is written {that is my 2 thoughts anyways} well there

hasn`t been much info about the NMP from MHM and why would you if it is a new tech{would be handy to give a decent reply to U though}

Its all guess work as far as $$$ forcasts go {either way} but here is a couple of links to look at the huge potential for the company if

they have it down pat:

Hey there Monkey Man,

Have checked both reports on page 13 and not sure what wording you are referring to, the reports I checked are on MHM`s website

so not sure if you have used this or another website for the report.

What I do know though is that MHM have 100% rights to landfill from Alcoa in Geelong and maybe this is what your meaning, are

happy to help if you can post the wording from the report that your questioning, I know you replied to MME but again are more than

happy to clarify if I can smile.gif

Hey MME,

From left field with MHM is becoming the norm lol, IMHO I thought this company could be a 10 bagger from here easily without

anything more than processing the Aluminium Salt Slag, but now well the sky isn`t even the limit lol, not trying to ramp at all

but if the NMP can be proven to work {and why would it have been installed in the Geelong plant if it didn`t JMO}, this little

company could be worth billions in the future, and then theres the Silica in Tassie , so the story goes {from those that attended the AGM}

that MHM wouldn`t spend any money on drilling the Silica tenements untill they have an off-take agreement in place, and in todays

ann MHM have ordered drill-rig/s to begin drilling, well I know what that tells me and we are certainly on the same page MME regarding

this reading between the lines thing laugh.gif , what a year this could be for all shareholders, MHM management expect to be in the top ASX300

within 12 months, and if only some of the above happens I reckon we are a great chance to be there.

Happy with the qrtly biggrin.gif , dissapointing $$$ and product processed AND THEN we find out why!!? THE NMP has

been installed in the system!!!! What fantastic news, good to see the company making great use of the quiet times

whilst waiting for the Bryne ponds to be approved ,this is the standout news for me, and of course as you mentioned

MME the SILICA as well, wow the mind boggles with the ammount of earnings MHM could make in the very near future.

Luck to Holders

Hey MME ,certainly has been a while for posts on MHM, looks like the real deal the 300,000 order at $1:06.5 & could well

be Franks order ? last time he started buying the price went up approx 600% biggrin.gif nice to see him buying last week again.

And as for councils well in my experiences it just depends who you speak to on the day {onto it or dumbass} person and it looks

like MHM had the latter, just a small hiccup I`m sure as far as the big picture goes, all be it frustrating for all involved, we`ve had a great

year in 2010 with MHM and I expect an even better year 2011 ,just wait till progress starts in the US then this baby elephant

will fly once again.

Hey MME,

And lets not forget about news soon on the Brine Ponds Application {is in the bag according to the HC site},and also the Gold

in Africa is due for an update very soon ,and also the Silica in Tassie is due for an update as well ,+ as you mention MME, MHM Director`s

in the US atm, so lots of good news to come again very very soon.

Shame you can`t get to the AGM mate, would love to go myself but just to far to travel ,I know when the MHM team walked into the

meeting {if I was there} I would give them a standing ovation tongue.gif

Whats your thoughts on the recent trading in MHM? to me it looks like one hell of a tree shake, lol time will tell I guess.

Hey there Pop,

Good to see you are still on board, I saw your posts earlier on in the thread when I started researching MHM .

This is great news no matter what, it confirms the start of a world-wide roll out of the Technology,

Mate, no matter what is in the agreement this just confirms to all of us that MHM is a straight talker and follows

through with whatever it says it is going to, OK {deep breaths lol}, To me this also confirms that MHM`s plant

in Moolap is also a winner as why would we be signing agreements in the US if the plant didn`t work properly??!!

being advertised ,nothing major I know but is moving along in the council process none the less.

Hey MME,

Have just been re-reading some of MHM`s ann`s and the one piece of news that caught my eye was in the AGM presentation in Nov 2009:

Under the heading FUTURE STRATEGY is EUROPE EXPANSION OPPORTUNITY:

"Salt Slag has been classified as hazardous waste in most countries of Europe.
MHM has had a number of discussions with a MAJOR European secondary Aluminium producer
in relation to the opportunity of entering the European market.
The European secondary Aluminium producer will also introduce further expansion opportunities to MHM."

I would imagine whoever this is, they would also be sitting on the sidelines {for now} to see how MHM`s FIRST plant upgrade goes .

So many iron`s in the fire for this slowly getting noticed company I just can`t see how it can fail.

Nice to see the pace slow down a bit for MHM with some steady buying over the last couple of days.

A couple of the most important weeks in MHM`s history coming up as you mentioned MME the Brine

ponds verdict should be out this week ,The commissioning of the plant up to full speed should be completed

this month, and I`m looking forward to the arrival of the US EXEC`S ,anything is possible here.

Well what an impressive ANNUAL REPORT from MHM today my favourite parts are:

"There is significant potential to expand the business overseas, with opportunities under consideration in

the USA,Canada,Europe & South Africa. Alcoa,Inc. has publically stated that by 2015 the company wishes

to end the land filling of Aluminium Salt Slag throughout their global operations. Alreco {MHM} & Alcoa Inc.

are in discussions for Alreco to be Alcoa`s GLOBAL PARTNER!!! to assist in achieving this goal"

And also discovering that The directors have been dealing with Alcoa for 5 years already!!!

Anyone interested in the company should without a doubt read this report.

Buyers 1,426,203 ,sellers 583,816 looks like its evening up a bit for the first time in recent times, huge

volume through for the day {for MHM } 3,357,073 value $1,987,795.

Were reports over at HC that there was a bot ? didn`t see the trading today, can anyone back this theory up?

to buy MHM,anyways I don`t have much faith atm either ,get a respected partner on board and I`ll sit up and start taking notice again.

I do like the "TALK" from the pollies regarding emission trading scheme, and that WA wants to achieve 20% green energy by 2020,so

positive in my view but we are at rock bottom for now so maybe the only way is up?

Here`s hoping ,good luck

Hey Joewolf,

This stock IMO will do similar things as PDN , FMG , Kar and more recently SFR {never held any of theses stocks} but wish I did

had PDN & FMG on my watch list at 20c each KAR at 30c and SFR at 5c and everytime they went for a run I thought it was now to

expensive to buy , 4 great trading {or should I say investing lessons there} laugh.gif .

I`m not missing out this time all mine are in the bottom draw and will be for a long while yet ,this story has barely started to unfold

especially for GREEN {and I don`t mean new} INVESTORS, with aluminium recycling and Silica tenements for Solar Panels , and as

we know there is plenty more pies MHM have a finger in ,not so GREEN these ones but a very diversified company as we know.

Hey MME,

Another good day for MHM, hit 57c and closed at 52.5c 8.25% gain and MHMO also closed on its all time high of 42c 9.09% gain .

2,000,000 on the buy side and 282,000 on the sell side, my thoughts are that MHM is playing catch-up in the last 2 weeks & with

October only a few days away and all looking good for the plant upgrade {so far} except for approval of the brine ponds {subject to

council go ahead} investors are either confident or just discovering the MHM "ALRECO" story.

Also find it healthy for the SP to hit new high`s and then pull back on a daily basis ,I know if I didn`t already own MHM the recent

chart would scare me off a bit, but would put on the watch list for sure, but anyone taking the time to research this baby elephant

would then understand the quality assets and rights to technology that it has and see the massive upside MHM has.

Luck to Holders

Hey MME ,

Good choice in the long term, was some interesting news over at HC regarding MHM`s Brine-Ponds

Application {which is Going to be on Alcoa`s property} no doubt about the connection between MHM

& Alcoa now:

http://www.geelongaustralia.com.au/residen...number=744/2010

Love the part The successful implementation of Alreco`s {MHM} upgrade is therefore pivotal to Alcoa

Me either ,

The most I`ve ever invested in one company and I haven`t sold any, and don`t intend to for a couple of years and even then

would only sell a few to get my money back and the rest a free ride , {depending what happens with markets etc} this is the

plan for now anyways, have 1/2 in our Superfund set up as a trust, and half in a trading account.

If MHM gets to where I`m expecting/hoping {as long as there`s not to much share dilution along the way}I`ll be retiring myself laugh.gif .

Hey Joewolf,

I hear what your saying, and on the other side of the coin the longer they wait to sell the 40% the more its going

to be worth IMO, IF its a proven technology that is {which again its looking good with the plant running} just not at full

capacity YET,so in short my thoughts are I don`t mind either way ,do it now and we as MHM shareholders {having first rights}

will pay less, wait for a few big contracts and we`ll pay through the nose but with a much higher market cap.

Either way the directors are going to do very well out of it lol, and good luck to them.

As someone mentioned over at HC, I also wonder if MHM will time the offical opening of the

plant with the arrival of the Alcoa exec`s ?? Surely these guys aren`t coming for a visit just

on the chance it might work, I`d say "IMO" that they already know its going to work,as we are

already earning more than double what MHM predicted with the plant not running at full capacity.

Its a long way to come for some of the exec`s from the USA ,so they must be confident IMO.

Hey MME,

Talk about from left field with the potential gold project , not complaining but, also am happy with no dilution, self funded

from the aluminium business which is great ,these guys have to be the hardest working directors I`ve ever heard of, what an

awesome future this company has.

Hey Ozgaz,

Shocking performance from the company, clearly they don`t know how to run a company properly.

Glad I didn`t get any at 3c because you can buy them for 2c now lol.

In the bottom draw my ones are {the ones I didn`t sell to buy MHM anyways}.

Sent off a home truths e-mail a couple of weeks back and didn`t get a reply {not surprising} but I felt better for it.

Hey there MME,

Yip, very happy with the Qaurterly also, the Silica project is sounding positive although with no mention of Wacka I assume

they are out of the race?? maybe, anyways as usual they are a touch ahead of what MHM said they would be which is great,

and again management have proven themselves to be honest & reliable in their earlier reports. biggrin.gif

The Nor-West has certainly had more than its share of bad luck lately as far as jobs go , as you say hopefully the port latta project gets

more attention now ,as there should be an urgency in this area to create more jobs .

Hey there MME,

Jeezze you must own a fair few of these now {top 20 list?} good on you I must admit I got some MHMO cheapies the other day

but have no more funds atm {tied up in others} This stock has the most potential of any stock I`ve ever owned ,sp not great atm

but with the company earning money this will save further dilution down the track .

Ozgaz how is it mate? no news on the smelter ,but I think it is a positive start in Tassie with Labour in charge {sort of } hopefully they

can team up with the Greens and play nice together lol, fingers crossed.

Hey All,

GRK looking very sad lately still a long time to go before they start drilling at UWA ,but an interesting article today

in The West Australian regarding the near completion of a drilling rig for Geothermal wells that drills 2wice as fast

as the oil and gas rigs {thats all thats used atm} and should cost $2000 per metre not $10,000 like the other rigs,

Green Rock gets a few mentions in the article well worth a read:

Hey Tigger,

You and me both, there are two obvious possible reasons ,people invested for the Wacker smelter for a quick profit and it still

hasn`t happened yet, and also possible over-hang of capital raising at 20c.

I`ll hold this one for a while yet {like years} this story has still just started plenty more upside to come although it may dip

a little bit lower in the future and if it does I`ll top up again.

Good Luck

Agree totally with what you said MME , I also remember the Tassie government saying that they were looking into the

silica smelter for themselves, time will tell but it looks to me that Wacker has backed off for now, maybe MHM`s ann

will force them to make a decision either way?!

Personally I hope we just get off-take agreements so we don`t have to wait so long for a smelter to be built {or both would be good lol}.

Hey All ,

Found this article today, BRAND TASMANIA NEWSLETTER November 2009, most of the info I had read before but a couple of

points I hadn`t seen before:

1/ WACKER representitives had visited the area 2-3 times to discuss key needs in the building of a high-tec Silicon Refinery

2/Forestry Tasmania confirmed it had held discussions with WACKER regarding long term supply of wood-waste from logged coupes
for the production of Charcoal needed in the smelting process.

http://www.brandtasmania.com/newsletter.ph...100&story=2

MHM looking good today {someone still has the brakes on this one for now} but a high of 29c today is heading in the right direction.

Hey there Ozgaz,

Just can`t see how this one can lose, its now my biggest holding as I sold some more GRK on Thursday to fund the purchase

of some more FP`s, but thats it now as I`m fully loaded or overloaded which ever way you look at it lol.

Have done some searching this morning on Aluminium slag processing and stumbled across this article and patent that expires

on the 16/1/2010 after it was issued as a US patent on 7/5/1991 , hows the timing on that considering MHM are due to

settle on the 15/1/2010 and to start processing immediately ??!! Anyways here is the link ,I`m no expert on the subject

and would appreciate anyones thoughts on this: http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5013356/description.html

Hey there Matt,

All the best for the rest of the festive season to yourself and all SS`rs.

Found this article today about WACKER ,we should know about the $500 million Smelter in the NW of Tassie by the end of March 2010.

http://www.theadvocate.com.au/news/local/n...58.aspx?src=rss

Can`t believe the price of MHM & MHMO considering all the positive news and potential company maker projects that are

on the go ATM.

This is my first pick for 2010 , all going well "projects wise" I believe this will be $1+ by 2011 .

Hey All,

Great news for GREENROCK ENERGY in yesterdays West Australian regarding the long awaited grant from the Federal Government:

WA GEOTHERMAL FIRM GETS $7 MILLION

"A bid to make Perth the worlds first city to be cooled entirely using green geothermal power moved a step closer yesterday
with the federal government giving $7 million to an emerging local developer of the technology.
Geothermal power uses water heated by naturally radioactive "hot rocks" thousands of metres underground.
By drilling about 5km through the bedrock, the hot water can be piped to the surface to drive heat exchange units similar to those that provide chilled air for airports and shopping centres.
Federal Energy Minister Martin Ferguson said Perth-based GreenRock Energy was funded under the governments geothermal
drilling program."

Although the author didn`t mention it is a hot Aquifier that GRK are drilling 3 k`s down this is fantastic news for us holders.

This news has not been released to the market as yet ,so I would be expecting an announcement first thing on Monday.

Hey MME,

Great find graduated.gif , love it when there is a bit of competition as well, as generally companys have to pay what the product is

worth {and not what they want to pay} and the interested companys can`t drag their feet to much or they will miss out.

This is very positive news for MHM ,this could be huge !!!

Hey Triage,

Yes you are correct the $7 million {if we get it that is} is for the Perth project, and as you mention the projects in WA and

not SA so hopefully the Government will spread the money around {this was also mentioned at the AGM} and Adrian said

the company had to decide between Olympic Dam or the Perth project, and the reason they chose Perth is for the $$$

and the easier proof of concept {hopefully} and he was advised by someone in the government that GRK would have more chance

of getting the funding on a WA project.

Hey All

I attended the Greenrock AGM today, I came away feeling happy and confident with the company and all those that

are involved within, they seem very organised and very careful in their planning of where to drill and how to go about it.

I did like the point that Adrian Larking made that when the holes are drilled that nothing needs to be invented to get

the hot water converted into electricity or to run the air conditioning at UWA, the company is very confident about the

UWA {air conditioning} and sees this as a potential new direction for the company to go in {in conjunction with the other projects}.

They hope to replicate it throughout the Perth Metro area and have been approached by many companys regarding this,

Weatherford Australia PTY LTD will be the drilling company and the rig will be availible in the second half of next year.

They also plan to have a proof of concept electricity setup in Hungary in the next 12-24 months and will be meeting with MOL

in Hungary in the next 2 weeks to get the plans underway and AL noted that MOL in Hungary is like WPL in Australia.

Two Members of the GRK board will be meeting with Landcorp tomorrow regarding the Geothermal tement in the Alkimos

north of Perth.

GRK met up with BHP 2 weeks ago regarding the Geothermal Tenements in Collie ,there are 3 tenements which GRK holds 50%

in 2 and 10% in the one in which Worsley Alumina is located on Greenrock is the operator of all 3.

Regarding Olympic dam GRK is ready to drill 2 wells but are in disscusions with potential farmin companys but nothing is concrete.

The positive is that the SA Government has asked BHP to get 20% of its power {once the upgrade is finished} from renewable

energy for Olympic Dam which Greenrock is in the box seat.

I see the real feather in the cap for the company DR JORG BAUMGARTNER ,as himself and his team have just commisioned their

second Geothermal project in Germany and that same team will be highly invloved in the UWA project in Perth, also we should know

by the end of this week if we have been successful in obtaining the $7,000,000 grant from the Federal Government.

One final thing was that Adrian mentioned that one of the current 2 geothermal companys drilling in SA had contacted him recently

for advice on what to do {he didn`t say who or why} but him and the board seemed surprised at what little knowledge this

company had about such an important project.

Certainly not the start I expected , but there we go the market wasn`t as positive about the raising as I was.

Thanks for the info on the wharf and industrial area etc... always good to know the local area.

I did notice that the wharf is set up for iron pallets on conveyor belts to load onto carriers for the neighboring

Grange Resources Magntite plant {that you mentioned} and apparently the Federal Government is considering

offering a free upgrade of the Port Latta deep water jetty and port facility to help attract the WACKER smelter project.

Also I searched the Tassie Government lobbying site and noticed only MHM on the register of 3FC GROUP and not

WACKER ,so it would seem {for now anyways} that WACKER is dealing direct with the Federal Government.

Have no more funds to invest in MHM but very happy to hold for the long term.

Hey MME,

Sounds positive for MHM ,hopefully our deposits of silica are of a similar quality .
I found an article last night on the Wacker website stating that they were upgrading their Silica plant in Zhangjiang China.
They have been operational since 2006 at this site and I find it very positive that yet another Silica plant is being upgraded.
I emailed Wacker last night to enquire if because they were investing more in the Chinese Silica plant would they loose
interest in the rumoured $500,000,000 Silica plant in Tassie? their reply {which took 5 minutes!!! ,very professional I thought}
stated "For your question on Tasmania: We are aware of the speculations circulating in Australia but as a matter of principle
WACKER never comments on market rumours" I was a bit cheeky to ask I quess but thought I`d give it a go laugh.gif .
The Wacker website has some excellent info for anyone who`s interested

Hey MME,

I read the same article yesterday {at the other place} Thanks for posting it here, makes for an interesting read indeed.
An article I read yesterday that is dated 30/9/09 has the Circular Head mayor Dayrl Quilliam say that Wacker were looking
at 20-30 possible sites "world-wide" but they have narrowed it down to 3 ,MHM being in the top 3 Wacker obviously doing
their homework : http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/break...silica-smelter/
And Topstocks has looked into the crystal ball and has a price target of 95c by the 12/09-1/10
http://www.topstocks.com.au/stock_discussi...threadid=390148
Also a Railway forum {who new it existed}lol with some interesting comments {not all of course} but
worth a read for those interested: http://www.railpage.com.au/f-t11352498-0-asc-s0.htm

Happy reading ,will search some more this weekend when I`m not painting the house etc.............

Good wiggle indeed BSA,

found an article today in the West Australian regarding Japanese chemicals giant Shin-Etsu getting the nod

to upgrade its Kemerton Silicon plant {to double in size } for $200,000,000 to 4 furnaces by 2013 to keep up with

world demand for Silicon which has been spurred on by Billions of dollars of government funding "world wide".

Just a snipet of the article {3rd story from the top} http://www.wabusinessnews.com.au/en-story/...iness-Headlines
And a similar announcement from the Shin-Etsu website http://www.shinetsu.co.jp/e/news/s20091009.shtml

Looking positive for MHM after reading this info, and what a day today !!!

Any local gossip you`ve come across MME being a local in the area?

Nice to see GRK teaming up with BHP & Worsley alumina for 3 new Geothermal licences in the Collie basin in WA,

I know progress is slow moving for GRK but teaming up {again} with these companys is very positive .

Hey All,

GRK down recently on small volume , but still up 50% on recent months, here is the address for the Australian Geothermal

Energy Associatin inc ,nice to see Alan Knights and Adrian Larking well involved in the association: http://www.agea.org.au/home/

click on about AGEA & click on committees.

And also noticed that although Perilya sold approx 1.7 million shares last month National Nominees purchased 2.2 million shares

which is on GRK`s website but hasn`t been released to the market yet, these are the top two holders except for the recent

give-away shares who we still don`t know has in their hot little hands.

Hey MME,

Noticed some keen buying just before the anouncement came through {someone in the know maybe} and the 500,000

sell order at 45c looked to have been placed there for the last couple of days as a cap on the share price IMO.

Also bit of useless info I saw a very nice BMW with dark tinted widows on the freeway in Perth the other day with

the number plate W-HORSE1 think it was one of the directors.

Good Luck

Hey there Flower,

As recent as 3 months ago people who brought in the "boom" were accepting lower prices for their property about

$20,000-$50,00 discount on $5-600,000 propertys, because there was quite a lot of stock on the market and some people had to

sell due to losing their job etc, but as with the share market when stock/shares are becoming short in supply prices generally

go up which they have recently ,my wife has been very busy for about 2-3 months but the last few weeks have

been crazy, this is just her personal experience ,she`s been in the game 10 years so she knows when its hot & when its not.

Hey All,

Greenrock looking good today and an awesome looking chart also, and not many on the sell side either.

Whilst dissapointed with the bargain price of the 26 million shares issued at 5.5c {still don`t know who it is yet}

its good to see GRK accept the Geothermal tennements from the WA government that have been in the pipeline

for a while, plenty of power/steam need down that way to run all the power stations and plants.

Triage as mentioned GRK are pretty cosy with BHP ,and it certainly hasn`t hurt that both Adrian Larking & Alan Knights

are ex WMC recources directors.

Hey Triage,

Yes not the best week for Geothermal energy as far as progress towards power generation goes, but I think it evens up with the

20% renewable energy law that was passed this week {thankfully they were split from the emisions trading scheme},we are

going to need all the renewable energy {preferabley base load power "GEOTHERMAL" hopefully}that we can get to meet these

targets imo.

Here is an interesting site especially with regards to the huge meeting at Copenhagen in December this year:

Hey there nacious,

GRK have requested a trading halt to finalise the issue of a private placement that will be announced on Monday 24th of August.

I`m going to take a guess and say it will be 20 million shares @ 6c per share for $1.2 million {I hope I am wrong though} it would

have been much better to do a 1 for 4 at 5c to create a bit of interest in the company and really get the SP moving north ,recent

history shows this kind of issue has worked for other companys.

Anyways its wait and see untill Monday {are we there yet laugh.gif }.

Good Luck

Excellent announcement out today ,GRK certainly is in the box seat for Geothermal energy as far as {PERTH/WA} goes,

Hit a high of 6.9c today finished at 6.3c ,we still have a gap of .5-.6c but the SP has risen which is all good, steady as she goes.

Hey All,

Nice to see QML closing at an all time high, the most volume for one day in the last 12 months

which is always a good sign, finished at 41.5c, with BHP & RIO TINTO listed as their key clients

it was only a matter of time for the market to sit up and take notice, be warned though this is

a thinly traded stock.

Hey All,

Just a couple of pieces of info I stumbled across recently ,the first is on MOL`s website http://www.mol.hu/en/ and on the

opening page there is an article well worth reading "MOL ranked as number one in two Categories on Euromoney list" up from 2nd

last year, {sounds positive for GRK to have a partner with this type of image}, and this is the address of CEGE LTD 50% GRK

& 50% MOL http://www.cegezrt.com/ .

Here is the link to see GRK trading on the Berlin stock exchange http://investing.businessweek.com/business....asp?ric=GRK.BE .

funding or joint venture news to relly move th SP along.............& Triage I agree with you that you 1/2 expect a raising from the

company {I hope at much higher prices than 6.4c} anyways heres a couple of articles:

Hey there Triage,

Thanks for the kind words mate {been hanging in there for a while now lol} still have total confidence in GRK especially with

the latest announcement out smile.gif , regarding time lines for the project at UWA there is an article in The West Australian today

saying "This December ,engineers will begin drilling a pair of wells, each 3000m deep ,to bring steaming hot water to the surface

to power huge chiller units at UWA in Crawley" {also mentioned} "Greenrock managing director Adrian Larking said he hoped the

$12 million UWA project would provide proof that the technology could be made to work".

Hope this info helps guys , nice to see GRK hit 9c this week as well {although back to the low 5`s now} just shows what can

happen when good news does arrive.

Hey All,

Can`t believe its been 4 months since the last post on this thread {not that to much has been happening recently},

but lately the GRK SP is looking good {nice looking chart with increased volume} and very few sellers ,also I noticed

PERILYA LIMITED has purchased 1.428 million shares to add to their already impressive holding of 15 million shares,

{16,428,571} to remain the largest shareholder of the company @ 9.11%.

could be a sign of things to come, {the Chinese hold a fair chunk of PERILYA LIMITED}.
