I am interested to get feedback on the company Rhinomed which I have been tracking for quite some time. Last year during an ironman triathlon event I tried their turbine and although it did not fit properly in my nose (as it was a medium size and I think I needed a large) I thought it was a good product and that the potential was there to really promote the product both in Australia and overseas. A negative was that it was recommended that you could only use the product around 3 times before chucking it out and it cost $30 for 3 pieces.

Anyhow, although the company are promoting this product and selling it on a small scale, there seems to be a lack of focus on the US market, where such a product could be really popular, particularly around Boulder, Colorado where many pro cyclists and tri-athletes train. It is my understanding that the company is in the midst of having a US based person to focus on that market. On a positive note RNO are getting revenue from dispatching the products to distributors, on a small scale, in parts of the world such as South Africa ans Israel.

I feel though that perhaps the company has spread themselves to thinly as they have been looking at a variety of markets, such as the US, Europe and Asia as well as promoting multiple products which seem to have taken quite a while to release. I am still waiting to hear more about their sleep products, although there has been very little news about them of late. I personally think focussing on the sleep market has greater potential than the sports market. Rather than focussing on a product that makes you go 1% faster on a bike, why not focus on a product that helps you sleep better, breath easier and (potentially) save relationships thru cutting out snoring? I am sure this would appeal more to the average middle aged person than sticking something up your nose to ride a bike.

To me there is greater potential of sales in the sleeping product, which looks like the sports turbine but is clear in colour.

Would like to here your thoughts.
