Looks like a bit of asset stripping going on. To end up as a shell ready to take in a biotech when that bubble is underway perhaps.

you would almost call today a breakout. see if it holds

still hold my 20k ....rarely makes any big moves

usually a cent up and than a cent down

no reason to sell

looking at the SP over a 6 month period the share price moved very little

i guess expectations were not very high....the small % they hold in each well would hardly excite any one

i remember trading them a while back and they then held over $100m cash... before a return of capital to shareholders.

i guess it gives management a nice cosy feeling holding all that cash

Yes, I learnt the hard way the dangers of treating junior oilers as long term investments. Far too much risky for me, other than as short trades with tight stops.

I think the two things that discount PPP's sp are

:the directors track record in destroying shareholder wealth
:the directors large shareholdings that gives them the votes to ward off any takeover offer, no matter how cheap PPP gets

One day you'd think they will sell though, but in the meantime they get paid to maintain the status quo, so no hurry for them.

For three years, PPP have been looking for new opportunities to replace their rapidly diminishing Tui production. This latest quarterly states that their quest is still ongoing, while we shareholders hold and hold and hold. What a mistake that has proven with all that lost opportunity cost in other ventures. The directors have both massive holdings and cash monetery returns while they procrastinate and we vegetate. What to do?
