Hi RCOers - nothing like a very low ball bid !?!??! stun.gif Agree with regn and daz - opportunistic at the least - daylight robbery at the worst. With the Weeks income alone its worth .18 IMHO. Looking at my screen I can see Taylor standing in the market with the 42+M bid at .18 and possibly also at .185 - probably will have to raise the bid to something like fair value.

Hi PENners - almost a producer - authorization to begin recovery of Uranium - a couple of step away but the market likes it anyway - up 10%+ today. If the SP mirrors the potential increasing POU increasing value will follow. Still reckon could do a 10x+ but could be when they bring in stage three - at the current rate of development I don't think I'll make the party?!?!!??! ;-)

Hi Kiril - like your optimism but share price probably won't move significantly until PEN actually starts producing and selling. Nothing like a good account balance to encourage the share price. At this stage PEN is still speculative but all is going well so far. If there is a major movement it will be speculation not appreciation of the fundamentals and therefore will be like the recent ASX up and down and up and down?!?!?! ;-)

Hi Donna - no new code just the effective date for consolidation. You can still trade PENN on a deferred basis. New Shares issued on 8 Oct and normal trading begins on the 9th.

Hi RCOers - looks like High Peak wants to do a cheap take-over?!?!??!?! angry.gif PT and the boys have generally done a good job and this call for a meeting is opportunistic. What HP going to bring that is not already there????? If they want RCO and the Weeks oil royalty why not bid for the company rather than trying to sneak in through the back door???? Definately a NO from me.

Hi Kiril and other PENners - this one as been one for the patient but I feel the upside is huge - a US uranium producer with all those power plants to supply should be a good one once it starts running. I'm sure the traders will mess around with it but long turn I still maintain 10x at least. Yes Mercury I'm still confident and I did mean 10x although could be even more. Have been a holder for over 5 years and have accumulated over that time including the dip in Feb this year. Talked to Gus at a presentation +5 years ago and nothing has changed my opinion on PEN's prospects. The catalyst could come when they go to the second phase with expanded production. Winged one, no offense taken - like you I've been in the game too long, and know you from "the old days" ;-)

Investing can be a marathon rather than a sprint - enjoy the "jog" as you stocks trend up!

Well said Kiril - this one has been for the patient. It hasn't been as "exciting" as some, but the pay off will be in 10's not X's or percentages. The "greenies" don't like it, but most electricity is produced by coal producing greenhouse gases, and despite the issues with nuclear, it doesn't produce GG's and is really the only thing that can replace base line electricity now produced by coal. Gas is less polluting but also produced GG's. Nice to see that Gus has kept it on schedule.

Hi Fraz - the Lone Star bid is a bid without anything for the shareholder but control of the company for Lone Star. If they like AZZ, make a bid for it not this underhanded approach - similar thing happened with Buccaneer and now they are in administration after the "new board" found they couldn't handle the situation like the "old board". They claim expertise but their 5 point plan is a wish list. The co hasn't set the world on fire but their certainly better off than they were when they had a series of "dud" drills and had to get "new blood" or go broke. Cruickshank basically saved the company and has given it producing assets.

Hope other holders see off this opportunistic board play.

Time to wake up ATPer's - after a long sleep this one is starting to arise - they've turned around the balance sheet and starting to look like doing what it did 7 years ago - its been a long cycle but they have survived while many of the competitors have gone bust. Pearls are a luxury item so the continued improvement in the economy should see them appreciate especially if they start paying dividends again.

Hi Nifty and other PENer's - I think we may be finally on our way - got some broker coverage the U price is in the right part of the cycle. Might even do .10 in the short term and if they get over .05 they may get some extra capital through the exercise of the C options.

I think we may have been at the same briefing when Gus presented about 4 years ago Nifty. Hopefully it will be well worth the wait!

Hi LNCers - The shareholders approved the de-listing but the market has disapproved it?!?!? wink.gif Though about doing what you suggest behrenspeed but in the end it was just too much hassle. Glad I sold and the SP as tanked since. Good luck to all who stayed - and best wishes for you SGX trading experience (filling out the all the forms etc.) I thought this one could do a 10X from .60 - good resources and great potential, but as pointed out - a lose for small Australian shareholders. angry.gif

Hi LNCers - the vote may have been in favor of delisting/re-listing but the market has voted in the opening half today - holders not interested in a SGX listing selling and those who don't seem to mind buying in the second half. At one point, LNC was down 14% and finished 3.35% down and I think there is more to come on the downward pressure. I think the Company has handled this very poorly - why not a dual listing???????????? The Company asserted that holders could use another broker that traded on the SGX but as behrenspeed pointed out, it will depend on how quickly the company produces the certificates. Who offers a CDP Securities Account????

Hi BULer and Nifty - this one has been down for a while, but as the LNG plants start to become a reality their CBM reserves will be worth more as the plants has more capacity than supply. Their conventional oil plays are of interest as well - if Marburg comes in should about about .10 to the SP, any additional hits could see it testing its ATH.

Hi AZZer - back of the envelope calculations - -15m for the notes, -144m in current and non-current debt and 257m shares puts the SP at about .55

Not sure what the company may do, but being drill jockeys, they will probably buy more acreage - might be a good time to realize some profit! wink.gif

Gus is going a good job and they are progressing as planned.

Hi EWCers - I think the feeling Falko is that if SCPE is willing to put in $75m there must be something to their business plan. This company is never very transparent but is a good trading stock - on past record it could run up to mid .40's or even break .50 - but not holding my breath til it does - seems to run on its own momentum when it gets going.

Hi LNCers - long term this could be a $6 stock if Umiat comes in (100mB potential). Short term LNC is a "late bloomer" eg peaks toward the end of the month so perhaps wait until the 20th before thinking of a short term sale. Next "turn" for LNC is at 1.61 if it gets through that 1.71 is the end of its run for this cycle according to Gann.

Hello AZZers - as a long term holder and trader, having both ordinaries and notes, I am encouraged by the events of the last couple of years. They are finally producing significant HC's and their production has been rising consistently. Bell's have them rated at .85 so there is certainly some up side for the patient - perhaps an early Xmas present if their production report continues to report significant increases in HC's.

Hi Balance and Wolverine - yes still alive and investing - miners are taking a hammering but the hybrids are doing OK and paying regularly and certianly much better than the banks?!!?!? . As soon as Greece gets straightened out the better. Its definitely a hard market at the moment. Been around the Lachlan fold belt for a look see. KBL and ABZ look promising and a couple of others as well that are still just exploring and can wait.

After the dashes in car and plane, hope there is a dash for some cash in to LNC?!?!??! wink.gif

Hi Winged One - LNC has been hammered, not because it doesn't have good prospects but because it not monetizing its prospects - sale of some of the coal assets would be good but actually selling some of the UCG products would be even better. Another area could be better production from their conventional oil well or production from their conventional oil prospects. Anything speculative is getting hammered in this market along with those not so speculative - europephobia seems to have captured the market ATM. Perhaps when Greece exits the Euro the sentiment may chance.

Definately a test of JC's credibility - he did well with the G's getting back up to $2 so he has "achieved" that goal - the $1 test will be a big one for sure - they must be fairly confident to come out with a statement like that and also future target past the $1.

Will await with interest, Ross

Hi Apache - its certainly a distinct possibility of getting to $1, if they have exploration success in their new prospects - 85 mbo could certianly generate the $$$'s to lift the price to that level. The buy back seems to have set a .40 floor on the SP so 1.5x is within reach if everything falls into place. Not holding my breath in expecatation but has certainly influenced what might be an appropriate target?!?!? ;-)

Yes Nifty, I got my allocation but I BPAYed on the Saturday. Those using the mail missed out I fear. Its a shame that it was a limited placement - NZ shareholders also missed out due to the mail unless they picked up on using BPAY and got in early. You may get a chance to pick up some as the SP is usually a bit soft after a SPP as some holders will cash in for a small margin.

Perhaps you on the right track - if it gets close to .60, I may just pull the pin and realize some profit and also some wisdom hopefully?!?!?! wink.gif

Hi IGRers - testing support at .50 but is the Inside Trader stock pick of the week so hopefully may get some support:

"INTEGRA MINING (IGR) Here's a gold stock that we picked on almost purely technical reasons. The price has fallen from 70 c recently but keeps bouncing off 50c on high volumes.

We also have 2 brokers increasing their buy recommendations and 2 Directors have just picked up $124K worth of stock.

They have good gold assets near Kalgoolie and are focused onramping up production over the next couple of years.

Worth a look for either a quick trade or maybe a longer term investment. Watch it if it breaks the 50c support though."

Hi Arty - they can stuff it up in so many wonder and varied ways - the classic of course was the old Pasminco which became Zinnafex and then was absorbed by OZL, which then almost went broke doing it due to stuffing up their loan book. In the case of PAS, the hedging arrangements carried out by the CFO at the time got his puts and calls mixed up so if the price of zinc went up or down they were in trouble. The only result that would see them survive was if the POZ stayed the same - needless to say it didn't and the carnage that that one stuff up caused had impacts well into the future.

R/Ross

*Investor Note: only put if you actually know what your doing?!?!?! ;-) Calls are a bit more forgiving in that if you stuff it up you get called or you lose you premium - with a put, you have a potential downside that is only limited by reaching .001

Hi Flower - they closed their hedge books because they thought that the POG would be higher than what they were hedged for. EG if their hedge was to deliver AU at $1200/oz and the POG was higher or they thought it might be higher and if they could close the hedge for less than the differnce it was good capital management. In this way they are exposed to the upward movement but also are not hedged against a downward movement. Also many banks require goldies to hedge their forward production to ensure they get paid.

Good stuff Abner!! After sitting and watching MMW fall, I got the feeling it may have just about bottomed and picked up a few today. Some of the negative reaction to the latest resource release was that it wasn't big enough but exploration is still on going and I suspect that well will see an increase in reserves as more drills are put down and analysed.

For what its worth, MMW had a simlar chart pattern a couple of years ago, bottomed in the mid .20's then jumped to .80+ in about 6 months.

Hi PENers - the following is from The Bull

"Peninsula Energy (PEN)

This explorer is looking to start production in 2012. “As the market has only valued PEN for its US mine and not for potential in its South African project, there seems to be a good investment opportunity here with room for further upside. If US operations are approved, the company’s share price could easily continue its recent upward trend."

Hi VMGers - with no dividend to come this one will probably wallow for a while but that could change quickly, as Ozgaz pointed out, with some new contracts coming onto their books.

Engineering can be a tricky place to be, just ask Henry Walker or GRD?!?!?! ;-) If they have contracts on their books, all is well, but keeping the future pipeline full is the trick, and of course keeping investors happy with nice regular dividends.

Hi PENers - they announced a sales agreement for their U3O8 with a US utility. Features an escalated fixed price, fixed quantity and term.

No mention of what they will get per pound but "The weighted average contract pricing over the term of the contract is consistent with the average term price used in the PFS." Not sure what means but sounds like they will get a good price but not top dollar.

Might see a bit of a rally on the news today.

Thanks OG - perhaps the 1 for 10 is an attempt to take OZL out of the range of shorters. The return of capital has no tax implications til you sell them then the return must be taken off your cost base (as pointed out by Jeeves).

After being in and about OXR/OZL for nearly 10 years and having seen them face a near death experience, its nice to know their doing well. Stil have some I bought over 7 years ago so I guess its a long term investment?!?!? ;-)

Capital management program announced including a proposed capital return of
12 cents per share (almost $390 million) and a proposed ten for one share consolidation
(subject to shareholder approval), followed by an on-market share buyback of up to
$200 million.

If so at current prices OZL will be a $18 share - Althought when compared to RIO ($88) or BHP ($47) is on really a big share yet?!?!? ;-)

Hi Nifty - glad to see your in on this one - definately the U stock to be in - on the verge of production and in market that will need yellow cake for generator resupply. Got into this one about a year ago and although a different metal in a different market, it reminds me of the old OXR - good management and good resource. If you LT, as I suspect, this one could do a dollar once they are in production. Has already done a X for me but IMHO it could to 10X from here.

Hi EWCers - this one is a most inegigmanic stocks?!?!? Just when you think it may best to let it go it does something like today?!?!? ;-) Up 15%+ on strong buying. No news, no projections, not inkling?!?!?! ;-) Amazed it didn't get a speeding ticket!! Perhaps something good happening in Indonesia but then again who knows with the company treating shareholder like mushrooms?!!??! ;-)

Perhaps another run into the .60's, I guess we can all live in hope?!?!?! ;-)

Hello PENers - this one seem to be the only logical U stock to be in - those producing already have the premium in their share price and those that are looking are probably not worth their value. PEN in in the enviable position of being on the verge of production with a good resource in a good location. There is a lot of upside in this one IMHO. And no you not alone LRR?!?!?! ;-)

Was thinking the same thing Fraz - Ashford should be of interest to NHC - NEC will hold 75% after a feasability study is completed so the remaining 25% might be worth something if NHC wanted to own the tenement outright. Arrawatta is a bit more a reach - its thermal coal and not much work has been done on it. Would be nice is they cashed in the coal and paid off the G's - nothing like a bit of wishful thinking?!?!?! ;-)

Cashed my RSN "interest payment" - only a couple of billion on issure?!?!?! ;-)

lol the value of hindsight - my suggestion Grommit - sell at .08!?!?! The only thing I kept of my holding was some B options - the market didn't value them and they will give a cheap entry at some point in the future.

Hi BOWers - I think Mars is closer to the mark than any major announcement or TO rumour. With BOW in the ASX200 all the "smaller company" funds will be adding BOW. With its generation assets, BOW is attractive to larger integrated companies rather than just "oilers".

With both their profiles would not be surprized to see AGK make a bid for BOW at some stage - they are swallowing MOS for their gas storage potential at Silver Strings depleted wells and now need some gas to store?!?!?! ;-) With the limitations on CBM in production the SS storage site will be a big plus for AGK)

With their announcements coming out on Thursday could give you another "interesting" moment?!?!?! ;-)

Hope all goes well Wolverine - even if you do get exercised you got the div and some nice $$$'s from your journey with OSH!

Hi IGRers - SP still moing nicely along with POG. Found one that may interest some IGRers - RNS - Renaissance - have some leases in the same zone as IGR (BIF "elbows) may be worth you while to check them out - I picked up a few after a Symposium presentation in Melb. CEO (JT) seems to have his head screwed on right and they not only have leases on a similar trend to IGR but also some Kalgoolie leases as well.

There may be life in the old dog yet - or perhaps just trying to get the SP up before they have to pay the noteholders their semi-annual payment in Oct!!!?!??!?!? ;-)

If they hit something good they could pull it off yet - still have their coal interests with NEC - who knows what may transpire?!?!? ;-)

Hi N.M. - Have had some of these since they floated in 06 - enjoyed the spike at the end of 06 and have added as appropriate. I know what you mean about "too cheap to be good" but this one, like many during the GFC, has been very cheap at times and has provided many opportunities to top up if you follow the daily machinations and have a value of the company set in your own mind.

Abner may taked out a writ against us for consecutive posts which seem to be his domain on this board?!?!?!?! ;-) although not as bad as F-W on IPC

Hi N.M. - no mystery - MMW is an explorer and their price fluctuates on the perception of the resource their proving up. Plat/Plad become hot or not, the price varies but usually in a larger trend than if MMW was a producer. Once MMW are into production (if the don't get TOed first) then the SP will be more stable reflecting their production and the value of their resources.

If your into TA there was a nice A-B-C signal in the last 3 months if you know Radge or the potential for .58 if you follow Gann.

TA Varmi - good so see so many LT holders had a very nice pay day! Ned, Di, and to a lesser extent myself certainly saw this as a 10xer back over 6 years ago. The bonus on this one was of course the IRP, and the spin-off of Pure and BOW - Pure (40X) is of couse gone, but BOW is still in play, currently 6X+. DTE is also doing well.

Congratulations to all who held and wise investing with the proceeds?!!?!??! ;-)

Hi AOErs - I believe that the cash settlement part of the AOE takeover is assessed for CGT on the basis of your capital cost (eg what your average cost for your AOE, but if you have held for more than 1 year you will get a 50% reduction) The DTE shares have a capital cost (average cost) of whatever you paid for you AOE times 2 (the DTE shares were on a 2 for 1 basis). However I'm not a tax accountant!?!??! ;-) As it always says in the PDS - check with your accountant?!?!?! ;-)

Hi LNCers - PB was interviewed on Inside Business over the weekend and indicated that they are looking for a partner for their coal to gas and other products and it may be in North America.

From The AGE:

Linc Energy may seek out partner
August 9, 2010

LINC Energy says it is still two years from commercialising its underground coal gasification (UCG) technology and is likely to seek a partner to assist with building its first commercial plant in Australia.

Brisbane-based Linc is an energy business that uses underground coal gasification and gas-to-liquids technologies.

Managing director Peter Bond told ABC's Inside Business yesterday the costs of building a larger plant in Australia was a hurdle to going fully commercial.

Linc has operated the Chinchilla demonstration facility in Queensland for UCG and gas-to-liquids technology for more than 10 years, but is yet to enter commercial operations.

''We're probably still a couple of years away from going fully commercial,'' he said.

''It takes about 20 months to build a commercial plant and we're a few months from getting to the position where we can launch to do that, not for any other reason than the right location and the right contractor in terms of getting our cap-ex pricing right.''

Mr Bond said the rebounding Australian economy was pushing up the cost rapidly.

''The last report we did has the cost of construction in Australia 40 per cent higher than most parts of North America, which is astounding,'' he said.

''There's a good chance we'll partner because a), it will drop the risk profile and b), it will add to the business.

''But we don't want a partner who will just bring money.''

Hi Mercury - 3m is about average volume so no big volumes - perhaps there may be some selling by the interested "buyer", similar happened with AOE. Or it could just be the hedge funds having a go. Since you can naked short sell once again its possible some of the action is related to the "hedgies" - part of that may be positions taken on the initial announcement than nothing so they are getting out. Been around too long to worry about potential conspiracies - it usually rights itself once the arbitrage has run its course.

Hi LNCers - with LNC still in pre-open and the Adani announcement already made - could it be that the second sales may be coming out sooner than expected?? They are halted til Thurs and in The Age PB said "Teresa" would be next. With a bigger up front payment expected, such an announcement would blow the market away?!?!?! ;-)

Perhaps ASX is just waiting for the "official" announcement from LNC rather than the news story. Current Indicative Price: 1.91

Hi LNCers - great news - PB has done a great deal with Adani - $500m up front and a whopping royality that gives LNC a great income stream. UCG, like CSG had been in the, past is currently not appreciated. I can remember a guy from Santos saying that CSG was a 'pipedream' and none of the major oilers in Aus were interest in it - well not at least until Pure got taken out by BG and Shell took 10% of Arrow then took the lot.

One question - do they need a partner now????

I have been to several presentations by PB and LNC - so far what they say their going to do they do - not necessarily as traders would like but in good commercial time. Previous moans about "When are they going to sell Galliee??" have been replaced with "Did they get enough??? As a former AOE & PES holder, and a current BOW & DTE holder, I can see many similarities between the UCG and CSG stories. Its not going to happen tomorrow or next week but good management, good business development and use of new technologies usually delivers the goods.

Although I have some LBY, they are miles behind LNC in a number of areas - one example, they only got $3m for their coal leases!?!?!? ;-)

PS $500m alone should add $1 to the sp

Hi AZZers - looks like we could have a TO offer - I had a target of 1.24 on them and the figures they released today indicated a value of 1.32ps on recent sales in the Eagle Ford. Will be interesting to see what sort of an offer they can get up. Should put a rocket under the SP today if the shares are not halted.

Hi AZZers - looks like the market didn't like the quarterly even though production was up the actual rate of production seems to have been a worry - around 500boepd for the 3 FD wells in production with a decline as the wells continue to produce. 12% drop seems to be a bit harsh as AZZ is producing gas and oil and that production will increase as more wells are completed.

Hi VMGers - looks like you got your bounce Hungry - P/E on latest announcement is around 5, a good fundamental figure - NAB and Hunter Hall have become substantial holders. If they make their projections of ~$15m profit, with 195m+ shares on issue there is a likelihood of a dividend as well as some nice SP appreciation in the next 6-12 months (2X a possibility).

Engineering is a tough gig but they have some significant contracts with the "big boys" (RIO BHP among others).

Hi MOSers - there is still a chance someone may come in with a better offer, albeit a slim chance - MOS has the option to opt out if they get a better offer before 4 August. The Silver Springs storage would be attractive to anyone with gas to store, including CSG producers.

At the current price AGK is about an even swap at 1 to 100 then a 1% "bonus" (eg 1.01 AGK shares for each 100 MOS shares), but there is CGT relief with the swap that you don't with the cash offer.

I suspect that the gas from UCG may be treaded as "petroleum" and fall under the petroleum tax regime rather be treated as coal under the MRRT. The same now applies to CSG/CBM gas.

If they keep increasing their probable resource toward their 2010 targets (eg 3p 2,750 pj and 2p 450 pj) we should see an appreicating SP!

That can be a mystery with some stocks Flower?!?!?! ;-) But in this case, I think people will realize that there is more value in Dart than was attributed today. For those who didn't want to wait or got caught on the wrong side of the arbitrage, took your advice and 'took the money and ran' creating downward pressure on a down day. With a bit of Eastern Star and Bow at home and some promising prospects OS I think .35 is a little low and I feel some others may think the same. Also with the settlement a ways off Im sure some of the "smarties" may be looking for some sort of leverage in this.

Brokers are appropriately named - .83 for Dart is very optomistic - yes it has upside but yet to be realized upside. Today the market says .35 (4.75 offer plus 1 Dart = 5.10) It will probably be offered at .50 so I suppose that "fair value" would be 5.25 - but then who wants to pay "fair value"?!?!?! ;-) Once the bean counters do their magic we may see some upward movement. Today was partially a reflection people who overestimated the increased offer getting out (hedge funds etc), and those that were happy with 1000+% gain and of course the market being down.

Once the proposed deal is assessed and analysed we should see an improvement on todays SP.

Hope your right Barra, but so far the market thinks otherwise. Don't think Shell/PC will come at a 100% premium.

The saving grace could be in the shape and form of the deal eg AI looses the 10% Shell interest with 50% buy into any project - that one keeps others from getting interested in it. As much as I loved the Pure deal, BG probably paid over the mark for it.

If Arrow walks away from this one the SP will immediately suffer as the hedge funds pull out and some others such as BA get what they can. I think Fraz is on the right track - ND will come up with the appropriate deal or no deal. Happy to follow his direction. Would be nice if the negotiations dragged on for a couple of months so we could get over 30 June before a settlement?!?!?!?! ;-)

Interestingly Shell does not have a holding in Arrow (share wise) but rather a series of JV deals. So in a sence they have no skin in the game if the deal doesn't do thought but New Hope and Matthews do.

Agree, Triage, about Arrow International spin off (Pure and Bow weren't bad ones either?!?!?! ;-)

I'm sure ND would want to keep his position in AI if it was created. The market seem to think they'll get a .50 improvement on the cash off with a discount to the AI spin off ending up about 5.30 in value ($5 cash and .30 for AI or combinations of that eg 4.80 cash and .50 cents for AI. Having seen ND work his magic for the last 6 years, would not be surpised if he weedles a bit more than expect out of Shell & PC. Something around 5.50 total value would be a fair to middlen price IMHO.

How much AI is worth, at this stage is in the eye of the beholder - if ND's running it or its just another aspiring CSG player. Other CSG players may have just as good of acreage, but management is the key. Of the others, I like BUL and BOW. Like UCG, a lot want to "play" but there is only one clear leader (LNC in this case and AOE in CSG)

Hi LNCers - doing well again today +.09 (5%+) at the opening. Unlike yesterday buyers at the opening were jumping over each other to get filled. Took 1/3 off the table on the surge and now sitting and waiting. In this one throught AOEGA's so very happy with this one and the Pure spin-off - if this one goes, BOW (the original spin-off) is still in play. Hope BOW lasts past June so I don't have too big a CGT to pay?!!??! ;-)

Hi Pengo - for a convertable note it is fairly liquid (average volume is OK for an issue this size) as the company has a buy back and they regularly buy. There is not much preium in these as they have a face value of $1.05 and are trading at $1 ATM. I picked up some as low as .75 so the yield is nice. They pay a 10% cupon quarterly - next payment is in April (.02589 ps). Its an easy 10%. Note matures Feb 11, so you have a year of cupons then the redeemable 1.05 face value. Current SP for the ords is .096 so little likelyhood of conversion unless POG gets to $5,000!?!??!?! ;-) . Recently sold their interest in Zara, so cashed up.

H CTOers - MOU with Chinese to mine City Mine - just a MOU at this stage - no figures mentioned - excludes Warrior and their processing plant. Asside from getting some $$s in, shareholders go from 100% to 50% of the City Mine and not a mention of what we will get for our loss if the MOU is ever implemented.

Despite this the market liked the announcement and the SP is up ~10% to .10 - now they need to get another couple of cents on the SP if they want the SPP to get up - or perhaps they realized its doomed and are looking for the money from the Chinese.

MOU is worth nothing until its a contract - the Chinese are famous for agreeing but not finalising.

30M shares for $19.2M @ .64 - small impact on the SP so far.

You still here Hungry?? - had a nice bounce on a good presentation today - cash and distributions good going forward and they are looking at selling some or all of their investment assets (citing limitations of current structure) with something definate by mid year. They may be looking to roll up the fund as the market seems to like to discount their assetts in terms of the SP.

Hi Damon11 - market is just waiting on the hedging arrangements - if they have to put too much into hedges the market won't like it. Also more detail on the arrangements would help - they have the money, but at what cost. Also going into productions is fraught with danger - ask RSN RNG CTO HIG Giants Reef etc about what can happen if the management isn't on the ball. The gold bars don't magically appear unless a lot of work and a few stuff-ups occur. IGR is one of the better explorers and hopefully will be one of the better producers - as with all investments - time will tell the tale.

The resouce keeps growing - wonder when a preditor will snap them up. May be too difficult for MMW to fund the mining but if they get a big enough resource they certainly be a target.

Don't like their chances of raising capital is they expect holders to pony up a .02 permium to participate in the SPP - The company management has proved once again that good management is not their forte?!!??! ;-)

Hi Err - should be seen as positive - BC was responsible for the Zinifex disaster and leveraged OXR into the debt crisis. The company is not longer a growing and exciting prospect - its now a producer of a large resource. The SP will be determined by its financials IMHO.

2 years!!! - wish all my holdings had that much cash?!?!?!?! ;-) Don't forget they'll have income during that period - cash burn assumes that they continue to spend at the current rate and have no income. Good management is to cut expences when income dries up. I sure if the company wasn't expecting any $$$'s then it would downsize. Realize that Mercury is the winged messenger of the Gods - if you have been in this one as long was we have a 9% shift is nothing to get excited about. If you want reassurance take the potential Siemans/DK settlement and divide it by the number of shares. Thats the potential.

Hi Wolver - looks like its going to move around the 5.40's today - got down to 5.35 but bounced back into the 5.40's - might be tested tomorrow Friday and the usual get out stakes. As I said earlier - anything under 5.50 is a gift with what OSH have in the pipeline (figuratively and actually?!?!?!?! ;-)

Hi F-W - NearMap is a good product and better than Google - used it to look at the a local school that is putting up a building, but interesting looking at it over a 5 month period as it went up. I suppose it will be the "better mouse trap" question for IPR.

The "analytics" you had the link to unfortunately had the look of yank boiler-room BS, no real analysis of the company, some vague statistics, and some outright mistakes/misinformation. This isn't a reflection on IPR but Portugese based StockMarks.

None the less its encouraging to see Stockmarks rate IPR well even if it is faint praise.

With a few successful litigations and the development of NearMap the SP should take-care of itself.

PS have been in this one since it was QPX.

Hi Alonso - PEN could be pushing .10 in 12 months or if they hit a purple patch .17 according to the Gann Square. This of course assumes that all goes well POU is good and the Co makes the right moves?!?!?!? ;-) This precluded TO's and sovereign risk issues.

IMHO should add $$'s to the portfolio in 2010!!

Hi Nifty and OG - not in this one any more but in KIM - waiting for it to list..... Market has definately been a bit flakey - must be newbies on holidays - some stock have gone crazy (did a nice 4X on TRF) and there seems to be little selling pressure - expect when the pro's get back to work we'll see more normal market. Wish you both all the best for 2010!

Hi IGRers - had nice coverage on the Business Chanel "Trading Day" about IGR and it becoming the second largest after Newcrest. The next stage will be an interesting one - can they manage the transition to production??? This has been a stumbling block for many little goldies here in Oz (Giants Reef, RSN, RNG, CTO all come to mind along with Bendigo Perserverance and Ballarat).

CC has done an excellent job getting us to where we are and I feel he can make the transition into production - hopefully he wont make the CTO mistake and "over estimate" production. 75Kozpa working up to 100K doesn't seem over the top, but IGR will need to show its approaching its targets as it goes - not like CTO which said 100K no 75K then came out with a quarter result of 5K and was duely punished by the market - 15K to 20K in the first qtr of production would certainly give it a boost not only to the SP but also to the cashflow?!!?!? ;-)

R/Ross

PS with Nifty on this one, initially a 2X but could be a 10X in the fullness of time.

Hi OSHers - the three days the SP was below 5.50 was a gift IMHO - picked up a few to add to the SPP - hadn't bought any since 02 but the spp and sp were too good to pass up. Have long since given up on why the market does what it does, but I have learned that went it does what it does, it presents "gifts" from time to time. It hurt my average price a bit - rocketed into the $2's?!?!?!?! ;-)

Hi CTOers - well at least their consistent - always not meeting their targets!?!?!??! ;-) Its a wonder they don't try the reverse process - Instead of projecting an iffy target why not come out and say conditions are tough and we'll probably only get (half the ounces they would hope to get). That way they could "surprise" the market to the upside rather than disappoint it to the downside. But this management has not distinguished itself with their skill or forsight. Good resource, very average management IMHO.

Hi IGRers - love those conspiracy theories - but its a market - LTers know that is one has long term value - the current fluctuations are partially the result of oppies and SPP - look at OSH - while the SPP was on its SP was underpressure. There is a simple way to eliminate the over-hang - buy more IGR and hold them?!?!?!?! ;-) Could easily do .60 like it has previously - if your a Gann fan - keep an eye out for a late Jan or Feb rally.

Hi OSHers - lots of good stuff going next year as covered by Wolver - the SPP is over and the SP seems to have resumed where it left off before the SPP as announced. Nice to pick-up some at bargin prices but definately damaged my average cost - used to be in the cents and now it has a couple of dollars and cents!?!?!?! ;-) With PNGG reaching the go ahead, its definately money well spend - even if the SPP was 8X what I paid for them nearly 8 years ago?!?!?! ;-)

Hi igrif - don't know is UCG/GTL either but BP seem to think so with a take or pay MOU for 14,000 barrels pd from their new SA development. Chinchilla was a test plant and was never going to be the "Big Show". If their SA tennement prove-up, their close to the coast and a large market. From their BRR chat with PB the SA tennements south of Port A. were ideal for what they want to do. The Laparinka tennements around Alice are probably something for the future. Lets hope UBS get lots of $$$'s for the Galliee!!! Perhaps a special dividend for holders as well!?!??! ;-)

Hi Mars - not unlike with a growing resource and a very good CEO but I suspect that this one may be picked off by a larger goldie in the end - with a big resource and all the pieces in place it would certianly be attractive to a number of Oz and OS gold miners. They already had a JV with Barrick and are in the vacinity of a number of other Oz gold miners.

Perhaps we should have a $1 party for CC like we did for OH?!?!?! ;-)

Hi AWErs - good report from the AGM - some "elephants" in the offing in the next 2 years (Hoki etc) and an increase in the base income stream from BassGas and more wells coming on line in the Otways. SP hasn't been spectacular but the Company is making good progress and continues to grow - SP will follow the POO which should continue to appreciate.

Hi Continuum- they haven't hit my borker account yet but the oppies have - I believe they were to be issued today and probably be in the accounts tomorrow. IGR has managed to hold above .30 for the last 3 days so thats a positive but needs to move up and break previous high at .34 if its going to fly. POG and the flow of annoucements from IGR will have an influence as the actual production is well into next year. IGR is well prepared and has good management - perhaps a continued flow of good drill results will keep it bubbling along. CC said in his Melb. presentation that we wants to keep IGR a "moving target" in terms of the size of its resource, so that any potential TO bid will be met with a further increases in resource making a bid made at point A look undervaled at point B. It can become a game of "how big is their resource??" if it continues to grow, so does the size of any potential offer.

A side note - we have been fortunate as IGR did not become part of the GFC - I heard two presentations yesterday at the MCC that were from companies (SAR and KGL) that had picked up some "plumbs" is gold mines from companies not able to negotiate the GFC. Basically ready to go mines with plant and/or other equipment already in place.

Hi BOWers - what about a nice renounceable rights issue with a juicy discount with the record date set the day of the announcement. WES did one a while back and only current holders got the nice price and WES got their money. Renouceable negates the need for underwriting as virtually all the rights are taken up either by the holders or by investors buying the rights. No sharehold should complain about that! At 1.25 to 1.35 Im sure they would get all the $'s they feel they need and make the holders very happy - Like WES's offer at $13.50

Yes the exchange rate is important like today - the US price is going up but the Aussie price is gone down due to the rise in the $AU. Hi Trading - HIG has been a long time in the wilderness - investors lost faith when they sold their gold mine cause they couldn't run it properly. Its recovering on other companies success (ie their joint ventures - Ramu and Fredia). Will be some fund raising when they have to pony up for Fredia or to increase their stake in Ramu but nice to see it recover none the less.

Its undervalued for several reasons Dayz - not delivering on past promises, their financial stablity, and way in which they manage their resources. The gold in the ground is encouraging but you have to have an efficient technically proficient team to get it out. They have not managed this in the past. Perhaps you assessment of the new mine management group will be correct - if so then you 10X is not too far fetched if they can get up to their projections.

Hi Mosaic - the drill results for Shakal-1 were very good but OSH only has a 15% interest in it and its in IRAQ?!?!?! ;-) Tubba-1 in Yemen could tap into the fractured basement reservoir like previous wells - these are generally not big producers but OSH has 60%. Caliph offshore Libya could be very large (ala Chingetti for HRD back a few years) and OSH has 30%. A wet gas well close to Europe could be a real cash-cow.

The SP has held up resonably despite the SPP - roll on PNG/LNG!!

Hi Hungry -not a lot of hype but rated top in its sector. I like the yield on this one at the current price (12%+) Market does look proppy - an interest rate rise in Nov or the intimation of a rise in Dec should see the market cool some. The US is cactus IMHO - when the biggest buyer of your treasury bills are the Federal Reserve you know your in trouble?!!?!??! ;-) China should keep us going for a while and if the current government doesn't overspend we should do OK. Hi BSMers - the preso was very good - MR is usual good form. The underlying question is how are they going to fund the Hellyer mine??? Debt with a quick pay off??? or a SPP or rights issue (probably not enought shareholders to raise the $$'s) or the issue of notes or converting shares. Im a fan of the latter. Set a nice target - say .60 or even $1 depending on length to marturity (3 to 5 years) cupon around 8 or 9% Im sure they would not only get shareholder support but also interest from the fixed interes/super market.

Hi OSHers - glad to see you closed out your calls Wolver - although they would have probably expired out of the money or were they longer??? OSH has kept the SPP for current holders by making the record date the 21st of Oct. Seems they just added this as an extra as its not underwritten and they were already oversubscribed on the institutional placement. Looks like a good opportunity to add some - OSH should do a STO/WPL once the PNG LPG is flowing - a 2X is not out of the question from the SPP price IMHO but then Im averaged in at ~.70 so I can afford to be confident?!?!?!?! ;-)

Hi Nifty - those are the swings and round abouts?!?!?! ;-) Once they get going IGR should be around the .60 mark so .01 either way won't make a big difference.

Thought Miss Adventure might sell some of her options to fund the exercise of the remainder if cash is tight.

Thought .25 was OK - did the 'punters' want a discount on the institutional price???? The money goes to the company to get it into production. Its been on cards for a long time its just that the Co thought they could debt fund it but with rising interest rates and tight money a placment was probably the best way to go. CC is keen to get into production but, as always, isn't rushing but making deliberate progress.

With POG on the up and if the $Au dosen't get too much into the $US, we should all be very happy.

Gave up my day job and have been enjoying the last 5 months traveling and watching the screen (Quote Tracker)?!?!?!?! ;-)

Hi AZZers - the market is treating this one with a very dead bat ATM - lots of exciting prospects with the Yellow Rose - I guess after the past history with this one most are "waiting to see" rather than "getting in early". They could wait arround until a quarterly that states the income from various gas wells before jumping in. At .25 could easily double as the gas comes in.

Nice to see the G's trading at a premium - AZZ is taking them off the table, and with each trade reduce their dept and interest obligations. If YR turns out as good as they hope the $2+ for the G's might be a good target for the ords?!!?!??! ;-)

Hi LNCers - PB on SM was very good for 'unreality TV'. He came accross well but remember this is the produced and edited version that we see.

None the less he seemed down to earth and genuinely touched by his experiences in Redfern. (wonder if he checked out the coal measures under Redfern!?!?!? ;-)

Nice to see a CEO multimillionaire sweeping floors and working in a garden!!

LNC seems to have paused after having a good run up (eg retracement) - may have another go at $2. If they can get their coal sale to the cash register $2 will not be a problem?!!??! ;-)

Hi OSHers - suspect that we may some additional interest in OSH on Monday - Marcus Padley included it in his "The complete moron's guide to the top 10 long-term stocks. Its not in the top picks but is included as "stocks that might be recommended" after the top 9.

To confuse the 'morons' he included about 25 different companies as possibles?!?!?! ;-)

(Picks include big 4 banks, BHP, RIO, Woolworths, Westfields, and Woodside)

Hi Grommit - this one has been a test so its good to see your now free carried!! I took the opportunity to close out my position - been in this one too long and feel the money can be used to better effect in other areas. They'll probably turn Mt Morgan into a "gold mine" both defacto and figuratively?!!??!?! ;-)

Hi Mars - most of my OZL holding is from years ago so yes I still hold - almost got down to my average in the drop. Glad to see them picking up again albeit on the back of BHP's problems at OD. BSM seems to have some of those 'OXR' qualities and MR althought completely different in personality to OH, like OH seems to get the job done and pull the rabbits out of the hat (EG Hellyer - INL used the mill but discounted the mineral leases associated with it - now BSM seems to think the leases could be a goer - so they get the mill and mining leases for the discounted price of the mill ?!?!? ;-) If nothing else they can run the dredge on the waste pond and get some zinc and lead?!!?! ;-)

A couple I like and hold ATM are CGG (copper gold) BLU (CSG) and EWC (should come off its lows also CSG).

Hi IGR's - since they had a SPP already this year another one would have been a lot of work and expence - I think this one is an equity and debt package that will allow IGR to get started ASAP. For LT holders there is always you .20 IGRO's at .20 which can be exercised in Nov. With RNG and RDR's SPP being over subscribed and subject to a large scalebacks perhaps it was just as well that IGR didn't do one?!?!?!?! ;-)

Hope CC and they boys make the transition from explorer to producer in precipitious fashion!!!

Hi Mars - INL vs BSM ended up a 'no contest' ?!?!?!?! ;-)

Good coverage on this one in The Age today:

http://www.theage.com.au/business/bass-boo...91004-ghye.html

Perhaps BSM can fulfill the promise that INL promised?!?!?! ;-) I wonder if BSM will use INL's polymedal technique at Hellyer???

Until BSM bags their 'elephant', Que River is suppling some nice cash flow until HMP or other projects get going - also noticed that BSM has a LOI for a toll treatment for Nautilus at Hellyer. MR continues to tick all the boxes!!!

Hi CTOers - interesting coverage about GML and CTO in The Age today:

"GATEWAY MINING Shareholders can be dumb sometimes, real dumb. That's the only conclusion that can be taken from what's been happening in Citigold's scrip-only takeover bid for gold and gold/copper explorer, Gateway Mining NL (ASX:GML).

Amazingly, the two-for-five unconditional offer has increased Citigold's stake in Gateway to 26.66 per cent even though it has been valuing Gateway at a big discount to Gateway's market price. On Friday, the last day of the offer unless extended, the offer valued Gateway at 6.4¢ a share compared with Gateway's last sale price of 7.3¢ a share.

The boys from Charters Towers, Citigold's main focus, must think it is a hoot. Their discounted march to a bigger position at Gateway - Citigold started out with a 15 per cent Gateway stake - would be fair enough if Gateway had nothing on the go.

But it does, most notably the excitement that could come from the hunt for some big-time gold/copper potential in central New South Wales in an exploration joint venture with Minotaur Exploration and Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsubishi Materials Corp.........."

Hi GRDers - in looking at the G Samuels I hope you all noticed that the valuation for GRD is in the range (.69 to .96) which means the current offer is well under "fair value" and is only "fair" based on the current and recent past share history (greatly impacted by the GFC).

I'll be voting AGAINST the scheme of arrangement and hope that this opportunistic offer is rebuffed by a majority of the shareholders. Interestingly the directors rebuffed an offer around $2.15 several years back as not reflecting the value of the company and now they seem willing to roll over for .55!?!??! The only difference between the offeres is that Eastern Creek has been sold at a loss.

AMEC's offer is very opportunistic and undervalue IMHO.

Hi RNGers - they can scale back the larger SPP's but I don't think they can scale back the minimum - $1k as that is the minimum. RNG has a long history of disappointing holders hope this will be the "redemption".

HI Terrine and other LRFers - in transition between a fund and a normal share. Will be managed more agressive in the future. Div's have always been good. Perhaps with a more "hands on" approach they will have more regular dividends (biannual rather than annual).

Hi Mars - IGR has done well of late, with POG on the rise. The key to the SP is the start of mining or first production or first 1/2 year result. There will probably be another raising to kick off the start of mining and wouldn't be surprised if there around .42 when that happens. Suspect that it may well reach .60 on production. After that its up to the financials. Don't see why its can't do a 5x from the .20 days if everything goes to plan. Mentioned to CC the idea of convertable/redeemable notes but he just made a funny face!?!?!? ;-)

Hi IGRers - very good drills!! IGR has a ways to go to get back to the "glory days". Can remember on post where the author stated "We'll never see .60 again!" Unfortunately he as right but not in the way he thought!?!?!?!?!? ;-)

Oppies exercise will help the cash flow, but probably still need a chunk of change to the the mine underway - or for a big goldie to make them an offer they can't refuse - if the way the drills are going don't know what a fair value would be but certainly north of .60 - perhaps we will see .60 again?!!?!? ;-)

They should be sending out exercise notices shortly. Not bad at the current 33%+ premium.

Hi Fraz and RSNers - now they wouldn't do that would they!??!?! ;-) Manipulating the SP isn't legal is it?!?!?! ;-)

If Arrawatta is being sold you would see the RSNG's going up in price in line with the ords.......

Well what do you know, RSN up 50% RSNG up 84% (on one sale). If the .11 G's start going then you are on to something. If Arrawatta sells they may call the notes - face value .33 - if the scenario runs true, the G's offer more leverage than the ords at this point.

Hi LRR - have a few but have topped up via the SPP - hopefully the SP will hold on long enought to realize some $$$'s. Mt Morgan may be the best prospect they have had after Indee went on C&M - there is also a possiblity the UG potential at Indee may be proved up if they get some cash flow from Mt.M.

Hi SBMers - heard Tim Lehany at the Melbourne Mining Club today - The power point will be on the ASX tomorrow. TL emphasised how much things have changed at SBM with management and operations. Gwalia is projected to go from 100koz in FY 2010 to 200koz in FY 2012. Southern Cross through Marvel Loch is projected to produce arround 120koz in the same time frames. So 300koz+ by 2012... remember previous MD saving something similar about 2 years ago. Has the story changed or is it a "remake" with new actors???

If they can keep to their projections 30c looks a bargin - potential 3X+ IMHO, but they have to met their projections.

Hi TOErs - heard Greg Hall at the Melbourne Mining Club today. Appearently they strategy is to smooze the polies and if WA doesn't work out there is always NT or Namibia!?!??! ;-) Their WA deposit is medium grade but they hopefully can get it into production before the POU rockets because the Russians are suppose to stop selling theirs. Holders have a nice abritage play if the SP holds up.

Good question Wolver and of course will they get permission to mine from the government??? Althought I see they have some prospects in Africa....... Had a result from this one about 3 years ago when it floated but haven't seen a reason to go back. Its not only if the stuff is in the ground its also if their allowed to mine it?!!?!? ;-)

Hi RDRers - Reed is making good progress - treatment plant for their gold mine, Van project progressing and lots of other bits and pieces. Working its way up nicely - perhaps a return to the glory days of 08?!?!?! ;-) SPP is a nice easy way to top up and there is a nice premium for participants - can get up to $15K (minimum $2.5K) at .33 (on todays close of .58 thats a 75%+ premium.

Hi Di - yes PB is a very shrewd opperator - seems to get things done on time and on budget. If he can get things going in the Powder River the US market will take notice for sure. Lots of potential in this one with a number of good prospects here and OS.

It up a bit today in early trade - nice premium on the SPP!

Hi Ice - its "risk adversion" alot of speculators got whiped out in the GFC. Look at OSH 7 years back - got down to the .60's. Don't know if AZZ can emulate OSH but a return to the "glory days" is in the realms of possiblity. If they hit at Eagle Ford - revisiting $1+ is certainly likely IMHO.

Don't know if their SPP is going to "float" or "sink" - no premium in it at this stage, perhaps support them in the market instead?!??! ;-)

Hi LNCers - some of the action today could be attributed to LNC's announcement of the aquisition of 90k+ acres of coal leases in the Powder River Basin in the US which is the most productive coal mining region in the US. Still very early days, but if they can commercialise their UCG process in the US it could be a big plus for the balance sheet.

Hi SBMers - POG breached the $US950 resistence level so the techo's are predicting a move onto $US1,000. With the US on the nose gold look attractive. An inprovement in the POG would definately help SBM's bottom line. New blood on the board, could be the start of a return to the glory days and $.50+

Hi TDOers - looks like their actively seeking a JV partner for their leases:

Sydney - Thursday - September 3: (RWE Aust Business News) - "3D Oil (TDO) will implement an accelerated growth strategy focused on its Gippsland and Bass basins interest, to maximise shareholder value and leverage off its planned exploration and development program through 2009 to 2011.

To optimise the exploitation of the assets, particularly the West Seahorse oil field, 3D Oil will initiate a formal process to attract a joint venture partner and this will be a key step to underpin the accelerated growth strategy.

This follows a number of formal and informal approaches to the company, including the recent unsuccessful hostile takeover bid, which underlined the potential value of this asset to the company.

3D Oil managing director, Noel Newell said 3D Oil was well placed to optimise shareholder value through two parallel initiatives, the first is the successful low cost development of the West Seahorse oil field."

Hi BULers - some drill coming up if the KOGAS $$$ can get them another rig. If they can start racking up some 3P and 2p reserves they will gain more notice. They have some leases next to Arrow's Moranbah project, so could not only be a good prospect, but easier to commercialize or flogg off to a bigger co. Success on the Sept drill could push it up in to the mid to high .30's IMHO.

Hi BOWers - overnight looks heavy on the sale side - might need some good news to keep it moving up. Oil prospects are frosting on the cake. BOW was originated to take Arrow's oil prospects, but then they found CSG at Don Juan. VicP has got a nice ride out of BOW just like they did in WA with their farm-ins there. Are VicPet's drilling scheduales still "works of fiction" or do they have new management???

Hi ANQers - Still holding its own after the big rise from the start of the year. WMRC going along nicely having completed 3 performance trails, and Barwon is supposed to start construction this year. Should be reporting shortly - will be interesting to see how their traveling - a good result could be a spur the to SP. GRD had problems with their treatment plant in NSW and ended up off loading it. Perhaps the DiCom process will be a winner - if so other waste treatment contracts await?!!??! ;-)

Thanks Wolver - just noticed that in their latest release OSH has 7 large leases in PNG for CSM! About the size of the sweet spot in QLD. From their report the prospect are shallow and thick based on oil drills in the area. Could be another revenue stream and a suppliment to any LNG development, if it proves up!

Hi Mcduffy - management are large share holders but not controling - Auroa and banks (Citi NAB ANZ HSBC) are major holders around 20%. Perhaps a vote of no confidence by shareholders at the next AGM - we organised one for EGL a few years back it it had the desired result - CEO shown the door. Their on notice now - they've set the goal posts - another "behind" or "out of bounds on the full" won't do.

Nifty - how is the golf going??? Just retired and thought I would try golf as a retirement recreation - went to the local course and was quit pleased I shot a 69 - I was so chuffed I decided to play the second hole?!?!?! ;-)

Hi Wolver - looks like your safe - its eased more today. This issue of div's is a vexed one - captial appreciation or income its hard to suit all investors - "show me the money" or "invest it wisely". Have been into interest rate securities for the last 7 months or so - not really cattered for on this sight?!!??! ;-) All those four letter stocks that most ignore?!?!?! ;-) Have retired now (thanks to PES), so have more time to post and follow my investments more closely.

PS Picked up a few BRU recently - have some production and lots of leases in the Cooper - spin off from the AWE/ARQ merger.

Hi Dimit and other TDOers. With POO on the rise, some have noticed this little forgotten gem. They are not an explorer (they have already discovered oil) but not yet a producer. Have seen off the rediculas Drill Search offer. If they every go into production the SP is going to fly. Could be a good pick up with the POO drops a bit and the SP eases - anything under .10 is a gift, at the current SP is a good investment IMHO.

Hi Wolver - just touched 6.40 so you may have been safe for the time being. If the POO breaks above $75 (currently $71) should give the OSH sp another goose towards the ATH. Still holding some of those nice 02 shares. .02 div is down a bit but probably putting some money asside of the LNG plants and new exploration leases.

Hi CTOers - management has not covered it self in glory in the past few years. They've have projected 100K grams of production a couple of times but still haven't got there yet. A very good resource with average management. If they get their act together and stop disappointing their investors and the market could get back to the glory days of 06-07. 100K grams is the test. If they can't get there as per their projections, its time for new management. Underground mining leaves little room for err, and the market it littered with Co.'s that have tried and failed not for lack of resource but lack of good management. Good management is essential if this one is to prosper.

Hi BOWers - as goes the Arrow so goes the BOW?!?!?! ;-) Let's hope that their both Pure?!??!?! ;-) Both nice little spin offs from Arrow.

BOW has had its ups and downs like its "father" and it too will gain traction with its CBM/CSG and oil prospects. It should get throught to $1.50 at some stage in the next few months if they keep racking the 3Ps and 2P's. Could have a nice little resource base for when the LNG plants are nearing completing. Already has gone throught Wilson's $1.30 target set in April then hit its head at 1.40, with a good run up, it should cruise throught to 1.50 IMHO
