I sold out at the mid $1.80's a couple of weeks ago....
Charts look very bearish at the moment.

Today's movement looks very positive !!
I bought in to this stock at current levels recently and have a price target of about $2.30-$2.40 in the next few months.

It has taken a long time for all the old dead wood (directors) to be cleared out and all the cobwebs dusted but things seem to be heading in the right direction.
The company is starting to make a profit again and based on high volumes recently maybe some deals are currently been worked on by the company to add to shareholders value.
Lets see what happens, I continue to Hold !

As I have stated many times on here, in my opinion this is a very undervalued stock based on the current share price.
Look at the companies recent results. Whilst a lot of the other major and mid tear miners are making loses or moderate profits, MCR is still continuing to not only maintain dividends but also still produce the 'goods' even in these tough times and when a price of Nickel is at the lowest price for years !!!

Not sure how much longer we will see MCR at these levels but I believe it will push back to at least the $3.00 level in the not too distant future !!

Lets hope it continues this way too !!

Absolutely NO Reason for the share price of MCR to be where it's at today...
12 months ago it was over $4.00 and since then they once again have increased production and profitability. Sure the price on Nickel has come down but nothing to justify a 50%+ drop in share price...
This is just share market madness and in my opinion anyone getting in at these levels will whave a smile from ear to ear in the months to come.... I have stated this before and nothing has changed my view !!

This share price fall in the last few weeks has no merit and this stock at the moment is the bargain buy of the year....
The company has no debts, is producing record amounts of Nickel and has 100 million in the bank.
In my opinion anyone buying at these levels will be very happy in the next few weeks !! smile.gif

In my opinion the good days are set to continue !!

Avoid posters on here who are anti WTE due to their own previous losses... If you bought WTE a week ago at 8-9 cents you would now be up over 100% on your money.
Not a bad return !!

For those that don't hold this stock, there is still plenty of time to get on as MCR will be the 'next big thing' in the mining sector in my opinion.... It will be up there with the big boys before long !!

I have owned this stock for more than 5 years and bought in at 18 cents....
It is by far the most successful purchase I have made and will not be selling this for some years to come..

This company is poised to be a major resource miner in years to come and in my opinion anyone selling out of this one at the moment is crazy !!!

Look at the figures announced today. You could not ask for better figures as a shareholder.
Increased profits, revenues and dividends !!... Wow, that is some company !!

DIO in a trading halt !!

My guess is that it will be good news with a potential merger takeover on the cards as another gold stock GRY is also in a trading halt !!!!

I could be wrong but I think GRY might want to takeover DIO and the offer.... 15 cents per share!

Nothing to be alarmed about in my opinion. Just some large institutions taking profits.
MCR has had a huge and steady rise for the past few months and it is common for large fund manages to take profits and that's what's happening now in my opinion.

I believe the share proce has reached the bottom of the current cycle.

Giddy Up DIO !! biggrin.gif

As a long term holder, this is the first time in a long time we have seen DIO in the mid 8 cent region with reasonable volume.
Maybe in 2007 the market will finaly realise DIO's potential and that it's undervalued by at least 2-4 cents...

It will take a few more of these type of announcements before the market realises that BQT might have finaly turned the corner.
I got in at 10 cents a few weeks back and I think that 2007 might be the year that BQT finally delivers the potential it as has a compnay !!

MCR is going from strength to strength..
The rerating of the share price is finally underway after the market realises just how undervalued this stock really is... This is a debt free nickel producer paying a healthy fully franked dividend which should be announced sometime this week.

My initial share price target a couple of weeks ago was for a $1.30-$1.40 by the end of this month and it's looking like it will get there easily !!

This is a very undervalued nickel producer and with the dividend expected to be announced soon and higher than last year, I expect the share price to increase to the $1.30 - $1.40 mark by the end of the month.
I have held this for a few years and bought in at 20 cents and have no intention in selling as the company is debt free and is going from strength to strength every year !!

Short term target in my opinion for PNA is about 47-50 cents and medium term is 65-70 cents....
If you are willing to hold on to this one long term for a few years you might be very well rewarded as I see a share price target of about $1.50-$1.80 within a couple of years.

Smart money is starting to flow in to WTE.
Not long now before long term shareholders are rewarded by this company.

TOP 20 list also looks very good with many large corporate holders adding to their list of shares over the past 6 months. Usually a very good sign...

Fantastic announcement for long term WTE share holders.

Still a little longer to go before the $$$ start rolling in but this is certainly a step in the right direction..... It's hard to believe but other companies like HDR, OXR and many others started at similar share prices a few years ago and look at them now !!!

I am not saying this is what's going to happen with WTE but it sure looks very positive from here on !!!...

Looking at the market depth this morning and the level of buying at these ridiculously low prices I have a feeling the 'good news' WTE shareholders are waiting for is not too far away !!

All those lucky enough to buy at these prices due to the panic selling of some will be in my opinion very happy shortly ....

As usual, shareholders are getting sucked in and selling their shares at ridiculous prices and right in to the hands of the major shareholders or people in the know, who are picking these up so cheap I can see them laughing all the way to the bank in a few months !!!....

People just never learn not to panic and sell for no reason other than rumour !!

I still hold and even though at these prices I am no longer making a slender profit like I was a couple of weeks ago, I am holding because I still believe the WTE story will eventuate !!

Minews Story
Date: February 02, 2006
Wedgetail Spreads Its Wings And Could Be The First New Player In Australia’s Modern-era Gold Rush

By Our Man In Oz

Apart from death and taxes there are two other, less well known, certainties in life. One is that only a fool says the market is wrong. The other is never to claim to have spotted the first cuckoo of spring. At risk of breaking both these second-tier immutable laws in one hit there is a small mining company on the Australian Stock Exchange which appears to be grossly misunderstood by the market, and which could the first new player in the next phase of Australia’s modern-era gold rush. Wedgetail Exploration has the hallmarks of an under-valued stock, and it might also one day win recognition for being the company which breathed life into the near-dead small end of the Australian goldmining sector. Fortunately, or unfortunately, for Minesite’s man in Oz who is prepared to stick his neck out, judgment on both counts is not far off and by the end of the year everyone will know if Wedgetail is as good as it looks – or whether Minesite will be looking for a new man in Oz.

The key to Wedgetail, named after Australia’s biggest eagle, is the old Nullagine goldfield in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Long known as the site of patchy gold occurrences, Nullagine was actually worked before the discovery of Kalgoorlie and the better known fields to the south. Famous prospectors, such as Russian Jack, pushed hand-made wheelbarrows south from the Kimberley through Nullagine and nearby Marble Bar. Some of these old-timers had walked, or sailed, north from the Victorian fields, and then across the “top end” of Oz. What Wedgetail has been able to do is discover sufficient gold in a series of structures the old-timers walked over, to justify the installation of the first modern processing mill in the region -- and to continue discovering more gold as it finalises the number-crunching before an expected go-ahead decision on a 75,000-to-100,000 ounce a year project around the end of March, with first gold possible by Christmas.

With the gold-price high and rising the profit margin on Wedgetail’s plans seems to be getting better every day. Asked for his view of the gold price, Wedgetail’s recently appointed chief executive, Peter Woodman, gave a one-word answer: “fantastic” – followed, naturally, by much laughter. Woodman, who was project development manager for Wedgetail succeeded Frank Vanspeybroeck, who remains a non-executive director. Another clue to the rising level of confidence at Wedgetail can be found in the wording of the statement accompanying the management shuffle. Wedgetail chairman and former Rothschild senior executive, Clive Donner, said the switch reflected “the company’s changing status from gold explorer to emerging gold producer”.

The rudimentary numbers on Nullagine are that it currently contains a resource of 13.26 million tonnes of material grading 2.02 g/t for 860,000 ounces of gold. The gold will be mined from a series of relatively small open pits, a re-run of Australian gold in the 1980s, the biggest being Golden Eagle which contains 466,000ozs. The furthest any ore will be hauled to the plant which is earmarked to go next to the Golden Eagle site is 45kms. Wedgetail’s plan is to install a one million tonne a year plant at a capital cost approaching A$30 million, and produce gold at around A$400 an ounce over an initial five-year campaign. Processing is simple with a gold recovery rate of 90 per cent forecast.

A year ago these numbers produced the somewhat skinny profit margin of A$160 an ounce. Today, with the Australian gold price at A$750/oz the margin is a more than comfortable A$350/oz which, at a production rate of 75,000oz leaves around A$26.25 million sticking annually to the fingers of Wedgetail management – and no doubt with some making its way to the banks which are said to be queuing up to fund Nullagine. “We’ve had approaches from four banks,” said Woodman. “They all seem to be attracted by the short payback on the capital cost and the potential for the project to grow.”

While future expansion might be on the agenda one of the keys to the approach being adopted by Wedgetail is that its directors appear to believe that enough drilling has been done to start a mine. That is obvious from the focus being applied to the bankable feasibility, and the orderly succession with Vanspeybroeck, the founder of the company, quietly stepping back into a non-executives role to let a determined younger operator move into the chief executive’s chair.

Issues remain for Woodman to deliver on Wedgetail’s promise, perhaps a reason why the stock slipped marginally to A3.7 cents today, close to its 12-month low of A3.4 cents, and also close to half its high of A6.7 cents set last March. At its latest price, and with a rather ridiculous 1.09 billion shares in issue, Wedgetail is capitalised at an untaxing A$40.3 million. The market is obviously thinking about how the Nullagine mine will be funded; and the critical ratio of debt to equity and whether a share issue, or major restructuring of some form, is on the way. There is also the question of what to do with the old Bullfinch processing plant which Wedgetail proudly acquired for Nullagine but which is now found to be in need of a serious overhaul. One number tells that story; 21 – the number of conveyors on the plant, which Woodman wants to get down to a far simpler configuration. On a brighter note, a high quality issue for the feasibility study is the need to reconfigure the pit design because the higher gold price has turned marginal material into ore.

While there seems little doubt that Nullagine will win its green light in the next few weeks, a potential trigger for the share price, there is the question as to whether this is the first cuckoo of a new spring in the Australian gold sector. On this score Woodman agrees with the view of Minesite’s man in Oz. “That is very much the situation,” he said. “We equate this in our road shows to the Tanami region. This a gold belt which has never been explored by one company before. It’s been little groups that got together in the 1990s for a heap leach operation and then went dot.com because the gold price was a lot lower then” Enough said!

I think it will be a few more weeks before we get some stability but I believe the good times are not too far away.

The management reshuffle was triggered internaly, but I beieve the major institutional shareholders also had a say in it in my opinion because as this company is getting closer and closer in becoming a miner, they need to have the 'right people' in place to be respected by the market....

It is all panning out quite well at the moment...

Options are not for the faint harted !!
The upside can be huge if all goes right but on the downside, it could be a disaster like it has been for many WTE option holders, thus the bad blood around at the moment...

On the positive side, WTE shareholders are in for a very exciting time this year in my opinion and obviously in the opinion of the BIG boys now getting involved....

Apache was spot on with his charting prediction. Charting is a very good tool and if you know how to use it like he does, it usualy (80-90% of the time) proves to be correct.

You are right, Linq is still one of the major shareholders and that's a compnay associated with one of the directors.

In my opinion this is all about to change and we will see different major shareholders within the next 6 months.
These are the 2 that have just got on. One is an experienced fund manager that specialises in this area and the other is a major banker

(RAB Special Situations (Master) Fund Ltd - 79,013,513 shares & Westpac Direct Equity Investment Pty Ltd - 48,835,487 shares).

Make up your own mind but if you are brave enough (like I am) to ride the latest wave of negative sentiment I believe this will turn around !!

There is a lot of negative sentiment about WTE at the moment and most by disgruntled option holders, and fair enough, they lost money !!

For those holding on to WTE, this in my opinion is the start of the 'real deal' that is about to happen shortly.
At current prices WTE is a excellent buying opportunity in my opinion...

And for those who don't know who one of the largest shareholders now is, read below you will be pleasantly surprised....!!!!!

RAB Capital's Special Situations (Master) Fund:

RAB Capital (RBCPF) is a London-based investment management company, founded in 1999 and is one of the world's leading investors in the junior mining sector. RAB Capital specializes in managing absolute return funds and as of June 30, 2005 had $2.25 billion in assets under management. The Company currently manages ten hedge fund strategies: Europe, Special Situations, High Yield, UK, Commodity/Energy, Fund of Funds, North American, Japan, Energy and Emerging Europe. RAB Capital also provides advisory and distribution services within the hedge fund industry.

BLU.......Selling out was your call but a 'bad one' in my eyes, but good luck if you've made some money.

You didn't sell out purely on the 4 questions you've asked here because you should have known the answers to questions 2-4 anyway before investing in this company otherwise you've invested blindly...
As for question 1, the company answered that question as well in their announcement. The orders haven't been lost just the finalisation is taking a bid longer and this happens very often in large orders. The overall financial position of the company for the next 6-12 months is UNCHANGED ....

As for your comment of 'holding SEN is like gambling', well that's the load of cr*p in my eyes and in the eyes of the 'big boys' who have been buying and continue to buy this stock.
You are obviously a short term trader/gambler and hoping the price drops before you buy in again at a much lower price and tha's what I call a gamble !!!

I wouldn't touch with company with a 10 foot pole....
The rampers on the other forums have pushed the share price up on two occassions and both times it has been dumped by people caught out...

My suggestion and only a suggestion, 'there are better companies out there' !!!

Hi stockdude,

I am sure we can catch up, I am here until next Thursday 15th so drop me an email with your mobile and when I send the wife and kids shopping one day we can meet up ....

SEN is going from strength to strength. The share price has gone up over 16 cents or 25% over the last 3 trading days and I am smilling from ear to ear when I turn on my laptop to check the days results.

All we need now is for a major announcement to come out from the company about a deal that provides increased revenue and the share price will go up at least 50% from this level.

The 'big boys' are buying and have been for some time now. With all the current publicity and positive write ups this company has had it is now only a 'mater of time' before we see a few major institutional companies in the top 20 top shareholders.
When this happens and in my opinion it won't be too far away, the share price today will see a distant memory...

I am set and have been for a long time and the magic $ share price is now only a stones throw away...

I am currently holidaying on the Gold Coast (the weather could not be any better) and basking in the sun with my family on a 2 week holiday, and it's great to see the SEN share price rocket forward over the last couple of days and I must say 'I am not surprised' !!!

Resistance was smashed once again at the 70 cent level and the next target based on my calculations is 84-86 cents....

If SEN continues on like this I'll be able to buy the place I am staying in in a few months !....LOL LOL

I still hold and will continue to do so for some time yet ...... smile.gif

Yes very strong close today.....Held and closed at 25.5 cents and in my opinion that could be the start of a quick move forward to the 32-35 cent mark....

Next 2 trading days are crucial. If it builds on today's close we have action !!

And the new director hasn't been appointed for nothing, obviously been sourced for his experince and 'contacts' in the military...

In my opinion some major announcements will be coming because of this in the future !!

I think we are getting in on a ground floor opportunity with this company !!

In my opinion, those that are willing to stick out and hold this stock for 1-2 years will see a HUGE increase in share price and profits for us the shareholders and the company over this period of time...

With the size of the orders and the high volumes going through every day, I can tell you it ain't traders or mums and dads buying, it's the Big Boys !!!

I have also heard rumours of another announcement coming out that will propel the stock to the next level, and 'maybe' it's the smart money coming in before that happens....

Another big close by SEN with very high volumes again !!
Big boys continue to buy and will continue to do so for some time.....Just stand to think that SEN is in the ASX300, if they got in to the ASX200 the share price will skyrocket as more of the 'bigger' boys will need to buy this stock.
My personal opinion tells me this will happen in time.....

If it can clear 62 cents tomorrow and hold again early next week it will run to the mid 70 cent mark very quickly !!

I don't know if it will hit $1 before Xmas like some have posted on here but in my opinion, I have no doubt it will "at least" get to that level !!

Well done to all that hold and have resisted to sell out, I am one of those and this one looks like it may make me a lot of $$$$$$$.......

peewee........I really don't give a rats how much directors are geting paid if they are also getting results for me as a shareholder, which they have done so for the past 12 months or so.

most 'good' directors get paid well so if this company continues to perform, pay the directors well so they can keep winning contracts ...

I also posted this same message on another forum .....

We are witnessing the begining of buying from the BIG boys (institutional index funds)...

Lets not kid ourselves. The level of buying at the moment is not from the average mums and dads, this is from large companies in my opinion.

People are saying that directors are buying back too many shares, well yesterday they bought back a total of 38,923 shares and that equates to probably one tenth of the volume traded and today is exactly the same thing.

I believe this level of buying will continue from the BIG boys for at least another week or two and I know believe the share price will be closer to the 75 cent mark after this period of time....

If Galbally gets voted of the board and these fligh by nighters get on, I am selling my shares!!!!
I have seen it happen time and time again in other companies where people want to get on for their 'own agendas' and only stuff up all the good work done before them...

Galbally and his men have helped increase the share by about 600% in a year and it's still going up and these people in this so called 'action group' aren't happy !!!...
Give me a break !!!

Nice gradual accumulation again today.
I much prefer 2 and 3 cent rises than big bangs as they tend to stick longer.

Before we know it in a few weeks the stock will be sitting in the mid 60 cent region and no one other than us holders would have noticed..

I hope there isn't any takeover soon and I really believe there won't be either. The share price will run up on its own after more possitive news comes out in the future.

The buying we are seeing from now on for the next few weeks will be mostly from index funds I believe, who are adding SEN to their portfolios so I think we should hit the mid 60 cent mark in the very near future... Who knows if they want it badly we could go a lot higher too !!!

I didn't say I am selling, what I said is that if a takeover did happen it would have to be at least at the $1 mark if it was a chance of been successful.

I am sitting pat and in for the long term !!

Yeah it did feel great !!

At current prices I still think you might get a trade out of it but I also believe another second offer will happen very shortly from Cleveland and I think it will be pitched at the $4.40 - $4.60 mark !!

Bello..........a takeover will have to be at least around the $1 mark to be successful anything less would be not acceptable by the majority of holders I believe...

The company is making more and more money each year, paying dividents that will in my opinion keep increasing and revenue is set to rise 10 fold in next 3 years !!

I will not undesell myself on these ones !!

Just an example I held shares in PMM which was the subject of a takeover at $3.85 per share. I refused and help on because in my eyes they were way undervalued at that price and I sold them on market a month ago at $5.10 !!!

So in my opinion, if the magic dollar is not offered on SEN I won't budge unless it's compulsory to do so !!....

hi tasteofmoney !!

Mr.$ is doing quite well on this one.
Bought in at 14 cents a few months ago but won't be selling as yet.

This company looks like it has got it's act together, is making money and operates in an area (banking, atm's) that will look VERY attractive for a takeover in the medium term in my opinion.

I believe based on these facts, it's still a cheap buy !!

peewee is correct about KAZ contract...

I used to own their shares before taken over and they are in admin/back office type work and totally unrelated to SEN's business..

Nice strong finish today by SEN.
As I said early in the week it seems to be building a base around the low 50 cent range before its next march forward !!....

Bello and stockdude, the share price has gone from 10 cents to 50 cents in a year and whilst I don't believe it will rise 5 fold again within the next 12 months, in my opinion I wouldn't be at all surprised if it at least doubles !!!

The company has turned the corner, is a sound business, is making money, is a paying a dividend, is trading at a resonable PE ratio and most importanly has a product that is wanted by major companies and government bodies with no competitor for at least 12 months !!!

If that's not what you want in a company you are investing in I don't know what is !!!

To be honest I don't have an exit price as yet but it won't be less than a dollar and I intend holding for at least 12 months to see the company mature and when it does, maybe a Nasdaq listing will then also be possible.....

Another positive day in my eyes for SEN today. Even though the share price didn't have a strong day as I expected it to do this morning, another close above 50 cents is very good. We need a few days, maybe a week of closing prices above 50 cents so it can form a new base at that level.
As I said previously the next target it 58-62 cents.

Bello I also agree with your comments about some possible selling in the next few weeks as the stock has had a HUGE run over the past month. Whether that happens or not is a guessing game really but I personally don't see any big drop in share price coming.

I still hold and will continue to hold for a lot longer and I am not concerned at all if the price did go back in the short term.

Surely some sort of ASX investigation needs to be initiated in to this company.

False reports by directors on expected cashflow time and time again, announcement after announcement but still no real $$$ coming in....What's going on, something doesn't smell right to me.

I still hold this stock based on the reports and announcements made by the company but am losing patience!!

G'day stockdude......Had a nice day off here in Melbourne today but very happy to see the share price moving north once again......

I posted my thoughts on today's action on 'the other forum' but will copy and paste it here as well for those that only read info on this site....All in all and in my 'mug opinion', we are only seeing the begining of the expected share price action for this stock !!!

My post from other forum below...

"If we can see a few days of consolidation above the 50 cent price it might be goodbye to the 40 cent region....

I said it would hover between 45-50 cents for a little while but it moved even quicker than I thought...
The next target is 58-62 cents and if it goes up again tomorrow and the rest of the week we might get to that target as well !!

I believe the share price will hit 70-80 cents within a month or two but will settle back in the 65 cent region before the next move to the magic $ !!!...
How soon that happens will be determined by the length of time before the next major announcement by the company.

In the meantime, I hold and will continue to hold for the long term as more contracts and profit announcements are made by the company and more more brokers recommend this as a buy.
Don't forget, more major buying is to come from institutions as they add this stock to their index funds due to SEN's inclusion in the ASX300 !!!"

G'day stockdude, yes I agree this forum is a little better with more quality posts and less garbage than the other...

The SEN share price has gone according to how I thought it would over the past couple of weeks.
In my opinion I also said that I believed the share price will trade between the 45-50 cent region for the next few weeks while it built support in this area.
Those holding out to buy a lot cheaper than this won't get the opportunity in my opinion unless their is a share market sell down in general.

The selling on Friday was what I believe Bello said, failed directors maybe selling out and the buyback that SEN has in place supports the price at the moment until the next positive announcement is released which should propel the share price to 58-62 cent region...

I have held these for quite some time and will continue holding for the long term..

Great to see the share price has steadied and held on over the last few weeks at the 20-22 cent level.
Looks like is has built a nice strong base and with some more positive news hopefully arrivng soon, we should see the share price closer to the 30 cent mark...

The SEN share price looks like it has stabilised and is now building a base around the 48-50 cent region.
If it can hold this level or move forward in the next 2 weeks it will be a very positive sign for the stock....
