Take it to the papers, or better still put your money on solid rock blue chips like Babcock and Brown, ABC Learning Centres, Oz Minerals or Zinifex just to see the board outsmart or burn your dough. Let's not even go near any of the biotechs or miners that were over $1 a few years ago and are now sub 10c. So let's say you splashed out in 2003 and bought 2 million shares at 5c in Skynetglobal as it was then, (something of a darling in the chat rooms at the time) and put them away, it would have cost you $100,000. 42 for 1 consolidation, then 10 for 1 consolidation, so now you have 4,762 E-pay shares, worth under $500, and you get a letter from them saying you have an unmarketable parcel, and your shares will be sold. Probably not the best investment decision you ever made. |

Could be something happening today - with over $30 worth of stock being bought up, a takeover in the wind perhaps, must be approaching 20% of the value of this company. Certainly an impressive performance over the last 3-4 years, I don't know of many companies who introduce a 42 for 1 share consolidation (Nov 2004) and then take the value of the new shares below the original - I'm impressed! |

Couldn't agree more. For some reason, the stock is having its head held underwater but the sells have been small impatient offloaders rather than big dumps and there have been some large (100K +) purchases around 6c. I thought she was going to sink below 5c but some big orders came in  so I can't get them cheaper after all.The management overhaul is in my opinion a wise move as the old crowd were as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. Oh well, time to sit around and wait for the paint to dry......again

the vendors who got paid with 140 million shares
at an implied price of 20cents must be suitably impressed with their investment. They probably had plans to offload their holding over a period of time. at this stage the mountain of EPY scrip they are holding would only be of use to go and hang in the dunny. Nonetheless i will keep an eye on EPY , the business might turn around in the next couple of years, so i might take a small punt on it sometime in the future. -------------------- This is not a bottom draw stock. This is a stock you take to the grave with you.

I'm still on; made a bit of cash when it ran many moons ago but holding little now. Got some more @ sub 10c. I'm waiting for 5c and below before I get more....... This stock deserves a good hiding right now  just to teach management a lesson that if they slip up the market will punish them harshly.-------------------- [i]I've told you all a hundred million billion times: don't exaggerate![/i]

Very true - if you are right (which there is a strong possibility) it will be a good trade, as EPY moves very quickly once it starts to (shown by the past couple of weeks!). |
