Hi All,

For what it is worth, I spoke to the company way back in June. They told me that the main hurdle for CUE was to get bank guaratees in place to allow them to get the money/cash flows/profits out of Indonesia (at a big fat fee). I was told that this was a bigger challenge than financing.

I was also told that there was no need to issue additional equity.

All should become clearer in the next few months.

I suspect that the share price may retrace a bit unless more news is forthcoming.

Hi folks,

Many of us from AussieOilers have been in CUE
from the lift off its lows, in 2003 and since then
it has been a very slow, but profitable rally.

Having heard all the rumours and arguments for
and against this stock, there's some troubling
aspects that have emerged ...... like these:

In the past, CUE was an aggressive explorer
and small producer ..... now, production is down
and the company has become stagnant, delivering
only vague announcements about funding for
the past 6 months, or more .....

---

If STO has visions of production in Oyong by 2005,
then there must be pressure on CUE to make a
decision on funding or take an offer from STO for
the Indonesian assets, which would make much
more sense for CUE, in the short term.

"Why?", you ask.

In any unfriendly stoush, between STO and CUE,
STO will win ..... as senior partner, they have many
tools available, that can effectively starve CUE
from participation in Oyong ..... believe it.

Next, you can count on a couple of fingers, the
number of successful junior Aussie oilers that
have survived in Indonesia.

Only NVS has been the notable success story.

...... but, you will need both hands and feet to
count the failures, which include EWC, MXO, CVI,
KRZ and a bunch more that do not exist anymore,
due to their experience in Indonesia.

Mostly, you can contribute their failure to the
changing of government policy, corruption/graft
and some bad luck, as well.

-----

Add declining production in PNG to traders'
concerns, then it would make a lot more sense
for CUE to get cashed up, with the sale of the
Indonesian assets and then get back to some
serious exploration, in a politically stable country.

-----

So, CUE needs to get its act together ... and soon.

Meanwhile, let the rampers pump it up to the
max, as there's some obvious overhead
resistance, where some of us will be taking
profits .....

happy trading all

yogi

P.S. ..... holding CUE.

Hi Sagit,

Given that CUE has been ticking up, on no apparent
news, we can probably expect some selling, when
any announcement is made .....

Targets previously posted are still valid and if the
market pushes the momentum up, CUE has the
POTENTIAL to be at .095 by 16022004 and
12.5 cents, by the March equinox, on 22032004.

Looking good, right now .....

happy trading all

P.S. ..... holding CUE.

Agreed, nice to see the volume up today and the share price creeping up slowly. Yogi, are you still confident on your price targets for CUE? I'm holding a small amount of CUE stock (<10K) but unfortunately haven't had much time to research this company, although based on other posts most speculators holding this stock appear pretty confident (including directors that have been buying this stock recently, if I'm not mistaken). I suppose I'd be interested to hear what are people's medium/long term view(s) on this company?? Say over the next 6 months. Any comments or thoughts welcome, thanks.

cheers,
Sagit

Solid volume today, with buyers moving price up nicely.

A nice trade was available from the price capping at 6.0c last week. tongue.gif

The 2 million + at 6c looks like price capping to me. Interesting times ahead.

Hi folks,

CUE has been bouncing along on the
bottom of its uptrending trading
channel, since May 2003.

... but now, traders have shown enough
interest, since late on Tuesday to finally
get it moving again, with some higher
momentum.

It has taken a while, but it has been
ticking up slowly and this run should
see us with an exit ...

Targets at about:

6.7 - 7.9 - 8.7 - 9.5 - 12.5

happy trading all in 2004
