Hi Folks,

The new Operations Manager for AXM, Allan King, looks like he's got the goods alright. A quick look at the Resolute Mining website will reveal this. producing ~70k ounces of gold per quarter from at least three separate global sites. Unhedged and full steam ahead. What I like about this is Allan KIng has a proven knowledge of how to pull a more complex gold mining operation together at an operational level.

I can't see how Mark has got flies on him over this recent 'acquisition', shows serious commitment and forward thinking.

Of course the proof shall be in the pudding.

I admit I'm sitting on this one until it starts to remotely reflect its intrinsic value.

Hi Folks,

AXM has dropped out of the ASX. This being determined by market cap. Can anyone tell me what consequences this dropping out of the ASX will have on the company and its shareholders?

cheers

Hi Folks,

the word is a capital raising between 1.7 - 1.8c per share. The GUP's or Gold Upside Notes that are held by among others Goldman Sachs, Mark Creasy and Kim Robinson are apparently seen as significantly stifling the progress of the share price. These GUP's are set at a US$1100 an ounce. Don't know too much about these but these note holders get significant funds into their bank accounts when the price of gold is upwards of $1100.00. Shareholders have been missing out.

These note holders are apparently happy to take a 'haircut' ie have their notes restructured and facilitate a more realistic progression of its share price.

Will have to wait for the announcement due out on Mon 31st Jan to be sure though.

Would have to expect so. Only had a mill or so in cash at end of quarter.
Not sure if this will ever get going.
The only good thing is that there are a lot of options out of the money that will expire in the next 6 months.

Hi Folks,

AXM is looking pretty steady even with commodity prices down. I have to say that this company is looking like it has significant legs in the short to medium term. So hold on to your stash folks...'tis not the time to sell.

DYOR of course...heh heh

Up 20% today, 52 Mill shares traded, buys far outnumber sells, if it closes above .025 today, the next stop is recent high of 0.041.
This may make up some recent crappy plays.
