Hello TEEers, it's a bit like a virtual housewarming party, with all the Oze's slowly arriving. Great to see!

Now, I'll be the first to admit that I'm a novice at this, and the posts so far have reassured me of why I invested in TEE, but the falls today on reasonably strong volume are a little worrying. Should I read anything into this, or see it as a bright buying opportunity. I'm looking at holding until Q4 2004.

thanks guys. http://www.asxboard.com/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

Hi Snoopie - if you've followed us over here from Oze you'll know we're most LT on this one - just a minor glich today and a buying opportunity, unformatunate Brantley and Rangalli kept cutting me off on those bargin prices - .043, .044, .045 should have just started at .045 and I would have got filled?!?!?! http://www.asxboard.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif

The mention about 4th qtr was actually a bit of a joke between Brantley and myself - probably more like 2006 before it really gets going, but looking at X's not %'s. In anycase it will be in a much different position at the end of 2004 than it is today - like many good stocks, people look at the chart wonder how those 'lucky' people got those 'cheap' shares - (eg .04, .10, .50 OXR) - good investments sometimes requires a bit of patience and a realization that the probablility of success (after research and due dillegence) puts the risk/reward equation in your favour.

Not implying that this is a cert or a 'no brainer', but with two very strong products (Beam and Wind Profiler) one coming good ATM and the other a bonus for the future, the probabilities are good IMHO.

As many know, my thoughts are probably worth less than you paid for them!?!!? http://www.asxboard.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif

Hi Chas and Welcome Snoopie,

Good to see you http://www.asxboard.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

Chas my broker ( Ord Minnett JP Morgan out of Brisbane ) picked up 200,000 today and over this last 2 months have picked up over 3 million. They talked with Ian this morning and everything is still on track. The seller of the million shares came out of Patterson Ord in Perth. The big sellers of TEE over the last couple of months have all come from Patterson and Tollhurst. These appear to be a group that got in for a quick buck and have now departed. http://www.asxboard.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

The Ned factor got me yesterday. LOL http://www.asxboard.com/html/emoticons/sadsmiley02.gif I bought yesterday and the price went lower ( the Ned Factor ) but all is well with the lot I picked up today.

Snoopie this company IMHO is a LT Buy / Hold and accumulate on weakness. To quote Ross in his reply to you -

" In anycase it will be in a much different position at the end of 2004 than it is today - like many good stocks, people look at the chart wonder how those 'lucky' people got those 'cheap' shares - (eg .04, .10, .50 OXR) - good investments sometimes requires a bit of patience and a realization that the probablility of success (after research and due dillegence) puts the risk/reward equation in your favour."

Well put Ross http://www.asxboard.com/html/emoticons/graduated.gif

Cheers,

Brantley

Chas and Brantley, thanks for your advice. Much appreciated http://www.asxboard.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

It was simply coincidental that my statement about holding until Q4 2004 coincided with both your comments about the same period. That's when I'm looking at putting down a deposit on a house with my investments.

I am a small time investor, and so, taking brokerage fees in to account, I need to get higher returns on my investments than most to make a profit. Having said that, I feel like I'm in with a shot with this one.

..G'Day Brantley....

..Same here..the ned factor got me in again yesterday and bought more.....but this morning when I saw the 0.044 my eyes lit up, but unfortunately both Di and I use the same online broker and although at the time we were buying, and they were accepting our buys, their line into the ASX went down for few minutes at the critical time, and at those prices it is only the quick and the dead.......... at these prices one can sit back and wait for the eventual rewards.........they have an excellent product and at this point in time are leaders in the field...comfortable to hold lT...the market will wake to them eventually........good companies take time to evolve, the also rans usually end up costing us money........

..Regards.Chas...

Hello everyone from Oze and Hi to all from everywhere else! It's great that we have an alternative to Oze, so at least we'll have a safe haven if the worst comes to the worst. http://www.asxboard.com/html/emoticons/sadsmiley02.gif

ARQ in a trading halt ... they've been on a Christmas shopping spree and will have a somewhat larger income in 2004 that they have at present. Very good move as far as I can tell.

Just reading in Shares Jan 04 ... at last I've found a local shop that sells Shares Mag ... I note with interest that gas supplies in the US are diminishing an that there have been 20 something applications for building port facilities for importing gas! Hmmmm I think an investment or two in gas producing companies would be most prudent for the medium term health of my portfolio.

Anyone have any good looking gas companies in their portfolios. Mentioned in the article was MEO. I see it's had a big rise recently ... looks like I'll have to get a sub going, so I get my mag along with all the other early birds.

Cheers

Sorry Di,

Can't find that board. I do know that are making an announcement next week and will have some result out in Jan 04.

By the way and whilst on topic....have done small amount of research on Gorgon off WA coast and seems to me to be a private company.....does anyone know of any listed company's that have exposure to this company?? They are the Co. that picked up massive deal with China earlier in year. Despite environmental concerns WA Govt. approved development.

Cheers

As I mentioned yesterday my brokers had a conversation Ian May, MD of TEE, and everything is on track for 2004.

I had a chat with them today to see what the market sentiment was this morning after yesterdays sell down. He said that from their cleint base the sentiment was bullish. At the time I was talking with him they had client orders of over 600,000 shares on the buy side and no sell orders.

Again IMHO this is a LT Buy / Hold and accumulate on weakness. To quote Ross again -

Cheers,

Brantley
