Expecting a bit more news from CRC with two rigs on site they should be getting more understanding of the shallow nearby stuff.

With xmas gone there should be more progress on approvals and with any luck some clarity on how they will fund the project going forward. They are still trading cum raising and it doesn't look like the market is going to pay up until this is out of the way.

You seem a bit lonely on this post Wolverine - I agree that CRC could be a winner

Here is a little snippet from Around the Traps from the Ferret in todays news

John Goodlad, investment man from Hartleys, and Paul Murphy mid

and small capital fund manager, turned up at the CORTONA RESOURCES

(CRC:ASX) tent to cheer on the winner of the Braidwood Cup sponsored by

the local gold explorer with a mine close to production at Majors Creek.

Managing director of Cortona, Peter van der Borgh presented a

$10,000 purse and a gold cup to the owner of Sebony, Griff Strickland of

Sahphire Coast, while second place went to Kiss My Fuji.

For the historic town of Braidwood, a town created by gold mining

in the 1850s, it has been an exciting time to see a company find enough

gold at Dargues Creek and nearby, to begin an underground mine backed by

financiers with the only hold-up in gaining Government approval which

could be soon.

Shares of Cortona seem relatively cheap at 18c.
