crowman28
In reply to: chitnus on Wednesday 16/11/05 11:40pm I see this as good and bad news both ways. Good news is that the dilution is minimal, so these folks can get on with their lives and show us the good results before doing the placement again. Bad news is that management credibility is crunched for mis-managing the whole saga. They deserve what they get here. If they are not going to give out some good news straight after the SPP to support the price, no one is going to subscribe to it. Now Victory is the final straw before Xmas. Live or die for SAU! condor
In reply to: crowman28 on Wednesday 16/11/05 10:45pm I got no idea about Victory - good or bad - but it was always bad for the spp. I'm just wondering why the company at such an early stage set out to display its incompetence. Anyone with the faintest notion of how market sentiment works would have advised against it without the support of drilling success. SAU management are seriously in the doghouse. King Baz
In reply to: crowman28 on Wednesday 16/11/05 11:45pm SAU were of the opinion that the results about 'Yathong' were exceptionally good, this is an extremely good target, it has all the 'signatures' of an IOCGU-target, layers on positive confirmation. SAU thought this info should have under-pinned the SP . . . but there are so many dodgey explorers on the ASX at the moment that good-results get clouded by greed/fear. SAU could have easilly done a DYL and said preliminary U-results of 239ppm . . . but obviously this means nothing. SAU is fine imo. That extra $750k is hand also. crowman28
In reply to: King Baz on Thursday 17/11/05 08:51am We just have to pretend the SPP didn't happen back then, I think this serves them right as the SPP shouldn't happen before any drilling success. They still have over $3m cash at this point. Plenty of chance to raise more money next year after they find something big. Remember SMM didn't raise their cash at 7 cents, but at 30 cents after they found something.
crowman28
SAU tanked below 20 cents for once, may be investors didn't like the SPP news, or there could be a set back at Victory, who know?
trader10
In reply to: crowman28 on Thursday 17/11/05 10:26am Hummm this tcok is getting sad by the week.... http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/puke.gif No results yet.....only thoughts http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/icon14.gifhttp://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/icon14.gif No interest from new investors or instos yet.... End of Nov is approaching...soon it will be DEC....can they deliver it ? Another delay ? Crossed fingers here....would be a shame a mass sell off of this paper. crowman28
Obviously a lot of investors are not as positive as King Baz, otherwise they would have sent in their cheques for the SPP for sure. They are even more pessimistic than me, and hence the pathetic SP for the time being. King, you certainly can't blame us for seeing things differently from you now. http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/laughingsmiley.gif
King Baz
All is well at camp SAU. Given this is the silence before the 'storm', l think the SP has held-up relatively well. I still think sellers are reluctant to exit. Looking forward to news coming-in from SAU in a couple of weeks, quick and fast. THERE ARE NO DELAYS AT VICTORY - drilling is progressing well. Did somebody say JV @ Challenger http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/cool.gif So DOM are doing well http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/cool.gif
crowman28
In reply to: King Baz on Thursday 17/11/05 05:01pm If DOM is doing well at Challenger, then how come SAU didn't get a spike of some sort?? I don't think there will be any pre announcement spike for Victory because a lot of investors are burnt badly buying in the 20s and 30s a few months back. Any good news is just an opportunity to get back our capital!! http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/grrr.gif
