Hi Fitzy

Good to see you on board. http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif

I think it is the JORC estimate for Obdilla that they are soon to announce.

PRU is very overlooked. By end of year they should be sitting on many millions of ounces given all their projects.

Here we go again tradem. http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/laughingsmiley.gif

Yes, I saw the intercepts PRU came up with a while ago. While they are lowish grade the tonnage is going to be incredible with the width of some of the strike zones which are still open in some areas.

I understood they were waiting on another 2 assays. One on a drill result over 290 metres that was testing the downward plunge of the resource and another that was on the higher side of the known resource (Aug1 Announcement)

Assay results received for three diamond drill holes completed on section 8 of the Obdilla prospect, located on PerseusÃÆâ€â„¢ÃƒÆ’ƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¡Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¾Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢s 100% owned Tolubay licence in the Kyrgyz Republic, are summarized in the attached table and figure. Significant intercepts included:

Hole ZDDH032 intercepted 76m at 1.4g/t Au from surface including 11m at 2.3g/t Au from 36m;

Hole ZDDH033 intercepted 74m at 1.8g/t Au from surface including 17m at 4.2g/t Au from 32m; and

Hole ZDDH034 intercepted 203m at 1.8g/t Au from surface including 25m at 2.5g/t Au from 60m, 5m at 4.3g/t from 111m and 22m at 2.7g/t from 145m.

The 203m intercept from ZDDH034 is open, with core from the remaining 38m of the hole awaiting analysis. The hole reached a depth of 241m and the lithology from 215m-241m comprised a breccia of limestone and Tolubai suite sediments. The massive limestone footwall was not intercepted.

ZDDH035, drilled vertically from the same pad as holes ZDDH032 to 34, reached 290m, the maximum capacity of the rig, without intercepting the massive limestone footwall. There is evidence that the hole is mineralised, but core sample assay results are pending.

The results from hole ZDDH034 on section 8 show that significant mineralisation extends to a depth of at least 230m, much deeper than on the sections to the east. The depth of significant mineralisation increases from 70m on Section 1, located 200m east of section 8, to 120m on section 2, located 110m to the east, although low grade mineralisation on section 2 extends to a depth of 230m.

Perseus Mining upgrades inferred resource at Kayeya

09:21, Tuesday, 26 September 2006

Sydney - Tuesday - September 26: (RWE Aust Business News) -

Perseus Mining Ltd (ASX:PRU) has an upgraded inferred resource at the

Kayeya gold deposit, Grumesa project, Ghana.

The inferred resource is 29 million tonnes at 0.9 grams per tonne

gold for 800,000 contained ounces.

This resource is still constrained by a shallow average drill

depth of around 30m.

The likelihood of gold mineralisation extending below the current

resource limits is high, the company said.

The estimate does not take into account drilling since June 2006.

The current drilling is part of a feasibility study which will

enable conversion of part of the inferred resources to measured and

Perseus reports drill intercepts at Ayanfuri

12:46, Wednesday, 27 September 2006

Sydney - Wednesday - Sep 27: (RWE Australian Business News) -

Perseus Mining Ltd (ASX code: PRU) today announced the completion of

first-pass due-diligence drilling at the Ayanfuri gold project in Ghana.

A total of 35 holes were drilled for 3500m on six deposits and

one prospect area over a period of six weeks.

Results received to date from three of the areas, including

intercepts of 21m at 4.4g/t, 10m at 6.3g/t, 18m at 3.4g/t and 66m at

1.9g/t Au, highlight the potential for Ayanfuri to host a substantial

gold project, directors say.

The remaining assay results are expected within three weeks.

With a number of holes ending in mineralisation, deeper diamond

drilling is planned at Ayanfuri once the drill has completed core

drilling on the company's Grumesa project.

The diamond drill rig is expected to arrive in early October.

Perseus: maiden resource highlights Obdilla potential

09:31, Thursday, 28 September 2006

Sydney - Thursday - Sep 28: (RWE Australian Business News) -

Perseus Mining Ltd (ASX code: PRU) today announced a maiden inferred

resource estimate of 10.4Mt at 1.9g/t containing 618,000 ounces of gold

covering the easternmost 400m of the 2km-long mineralised zone at

Obdilla is one of five prospects situated on the Tolubay

licence, in the foothills of the Alay Range and Chauway valley in

central western Kyrgyz Republic, 110km from Osh city.

The Tolubay licence is the smallest of the eight Perseus

licences covering 4846sq km that form the South Kyrgyz Gold Project.

Gold mineralisation is found in a Carlin-style setting hosted by

calcareous siltstone and sandstone of the Tolubay Suite.

Directors said this sequence appeared to be getting deeper and

wider to the west, highlighting the potential for a substantial increase

in delineated resources as drilling is extended in a westerly direction. "By way of example, the westernmost 100m of the 400m strike over

which the resource estimation was made contains 266,000oz, or 43% of the

gold in the resource estimate," they said.

Perseus currently has two diamond drill rigs on site and plans

to add at least one more rig.

Due to the relatively low altitude and good infrastructure,

drilling at Obdilla will continue throughout the year.

"Perseus expects to be in a position to announce regular

resource upgrades for the Obdilla deposit, which appears to be part of a

large mineralised system in a geological setting highly prospective for

large-scale sediment hosted gold deposits," the directors said.

Perseus finds more 'significant' gold in Ghana

10:02, Tuesday, 24 October 2006

Sydney - Tuesday - October 24: (RWE Australian Business News) -

Perseus Mining Ltd (ASX: PRU) reports significant drilling results have

been received on a further four of seven gold deposits drill tested at

the Ayanfuri gold project in Ghana, including open-ended intercepts of

88m at 2.1g/t, 100m at 1.7g/t, 55m at 1.7g/t, 116m at 1.1g/t, 50m at

1.4g/t and 50m at 1.3g/t Au. Sub-intercepts included 50m at 3.0g/t, 26m at 2.2g/t, 20m at

2.7g/t, 20m at 2.3g/t, and 10m at 3.6g/t Au.

Multiple wide zones of free-milling gold mineralisation continue

to the depth limit of RC drilling to date - demonstrating the potential

for Ayanfuri to host a significant mining operation.

Previously announced gold resource estimates for the project

(Indicated - 268,000 ounces; Inferred - 340,000 ounces) cover only four

of the seven deposits tested by Perseus and do not reflect the depth

potential highlighted by the latest drilling.
