NPAT up 23% on pcp despite earlier indications that result might be weaker than expectations with more growth in second half. Actually, NPBT was up 67%, which suggests to me that they are tracking towards FY profit of $4.7 - $4.8m (42% increase in FY NPAT). However, the bulk of this increase comes from the sampling equipment - by my calculations, automation contracts could add a further $1.0m+ NPAT to the final result. This result would represent a forward P/E of 9.5 at current sp of $1.09.

Also mention of $4m of further automation contracts. And balance sheet has net cash.

On 23 July 2020, Pioneer Resources Limited (PIO) changed its name and ASX code to Essential Metals Limited (ESS).

and here we are, 2022.

Essential Metals Limited (ESS, formerly Pioneer Resources Limited) is a minerals exploration and development company holding multi commodity tenement portfolio strategically located largely within 200 km of Kalgoorlie Boulder, Western Australia.

and bouncing along 10c to  20c, up and down, most of the last few years, before a bit of action, then an ASX query:

  1.  Not Aware
  2.  Not Applicable
  3.  Company is not aware of any other explanation for the recent trading in its securities, other than further improvements in market sentiment within the wider lithium market, which appears to have resulted in increases in share prices and trading volumes of other lithium focused companies
  4.  In Compliance

and today; New lithium targets to be tested by air core drilling at Dome North as diamond drilling resumes . A 30 hole/2,320m air core program to commence next week to test newly identified targets close to existing deposits.

Five days of rises, on volume. now 46c
