Hi Acamar,

If you're going to get serious about oilers you might like to have a look at two weekly subscriptions. One is Oil and Gas Weekly (www.oilers.com.au) and the other is StockAnalysis (www.stockanalysis.com.au).

The first is purely public listed oilers while the second is mainly oil stocks but covers a few non oil stocks as well.

Oil and Gas Gazette is also a good read for background. (www.riu.com.au).

Long time viewer. Short time poster.

My investment strategy would be summarised as follows:

1) Ignore everything you hear or see on TV

2) Ignore most of what you hear on the radio

3) Ignore a lot of what you read in the paper

4) Do your own research and make your own mind up on what to buy/sell.

Doing OK at the minut but keen to learn more about charting and trading analysis

HELLO ALL, yes i am new to posting and dont type all that well. I have been active trading about 6 years so i guess i hve been lucky, not broke yet. i was a frequent lurker at kitco until it shut down . i guess that helped me find this board as a substitute. I guess i am a bit of a gold bug. I also have interest in the oilers. I use to work on the alaska pipeline. that started my interest . this is a great place to pick up ideas for research. just duck the pump and dumpers.

G'day Admin 1

(Your pm mailbox is full by the way) http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif

I've just been looking at a few old off topic discussions and saw this thread-

"New Member Introductions, New members to introduce themselves"

I was thinking it may be a good idea to pin this up somewhere for easy access and visibility for those who do want to introduce themselves. Otherwise the topic simply scrolls off.

Hi Mullokintyre,

First off, Welcome http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif .

Feature wise (compared to Investorweb) ShareScene is very rich, therefore spending a couple of minutes reviewing both "Help" & "Announcements By ShareScene" will help you discover what's on offer and how to access it.

Announcements by Sharescene.com

As always, if at anytime you have a question or need some help all you have to do is click "Contact Admin" (which can be found at the top, centre of all pages on ShareScene)

P.S Varmi, Thankyou (topic is now "Pinned")
