amazed
In reply to: Boman on Thursday 22/12/05 09:13pm Boman Its got to be more than Fairbridge etc. The move up has been too dramatic imo. SEA has hardly moved and it has a greater stake in Fairbridge etc. Eventually someone was going to take a decent chunk and sit on it...maybe your right. Marsupial
In reply to: amazed on Friday 23/12/05 05:49am I used the slight retracement to step up to the mark today and double my position. Am keeping some powder dry for any further weakening next week.
ballcrusher
My broker rang today recommending me to sell some, not all. At over 100% profit from my initial outlay, I had to listen. Lighten my load by a third and recovered my cost for my entire holding. Free ride for me from here on. I reckon my broker was wrong, even though he has been right more often than not. Lets see what happens in the next two weeks. Going to be very interesting
ian_whitchurch
In reply to: Boman on Thursday 22/12/05 09:13pm Boman, For the record, no I dont think it is that that has happened. I think this is all just individual punters getting set. Ian Whitchurch
oldman river
In reply to: ian_whitchurch on Saturday 24/12/05 03:37pm well whatever the reasons, they certainly have the attention of the market. In some respects, COE reminds me of the life cycle of Beach, and how they built up a lot of cash over a period of time before branching out. Look at what this strategy did for Beach's share price. ian_whitchurch
In reply to: oldman river on Sunday 25/12/05 08:50pm Stayed stagnant until they said what they were doing with the money ? There's a lesson in that for all of us, I think - the Australian market hates junior oilers that sit on cash. Ian Whitchurch
amazed
In reply to: ian_whitchurch on Monday 26/12/05 06:39am If a larger oil company, or anyone was taking a stake, they wouldnt be getting much. The volumes on the way up over the last month have been tiny.

lyndon_webster
Fairbridge should have spudded today. There should be indications sometime next week...
