utb
Swinburne University of Technology Brain Sciences Institute Research Report A randomised, double-blind, placebo controlled study examining the effects of a special pine needle extract RoprenÃÆâ€â„¢ÃƒÆ’ƒÂ¢Ãƒ¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¡ÃƒÆ’â€Å¡Ãƒƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚® vs placebo on cognitive function, biological parameters, brain EEG and mood. Investigators: Professor Con Stough, Dr Andrew Pipingas, Ms Vanessa Bilog and Ms Christina Kure Perhaps not enough for some yet...which is fair enough. SLA didn't need large double blind RCT in Russia to achieve registration....... They have always indicated that "western " countries will need these types of trials to achieve local registration for Ropren.
gppm
Wren, why would you expect a blog for shareholders and investors to be full of a scientific dialectic? The fact that is full of anecdotes about personal use of the SLA products is of cause a bit off-topic, but it does go to show that the investors have some real faith in the company's products, which is not a common thing and certainly not a bad thing for a company. If you are looking for the science reports, go ask the company, or look on the ASX web site - they are referenced there by the way, or check the web or other primary sources. It does exist if you are interested in finding it. I have never sighted any scientific evidence that asprin works either, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it just means I have never tried to find it. Rufous
For a lot of us that have been on the SLA journey for a long time, we believed that what the company represented was hope for prevention and/or cure of ailments that many people suffered. Early on there were regular announcements that encouraged us and that re-inforced our belief. Perhaps the directors of the company were a little (lot) naive and grossly understated the time required in a modern society to bring new pharmaceutical products to the market. Mistakes were made and with many missed deadlines the directors have decided not to make regular announcements. There are too many things outside there control e.g. Russian regulations and bureacracy, taxation, patents, distances, etc. Many of us continue to read SS and the SLA thread each day. We check the shareprice on the internet hoping that all important announcements have been made that will tell us that products are at long last going to the market. We appreciate those that hunt the internet to provide snippets of information. At the end of the day it is our money and if we choose to invest in any company we stand by our decision. Best wishes Rufous
Sparkplug
A HUGE thanks to my sponsors Bioeffectives, Siberian Red, Linfox, Air Asia, Burson Autoparts, Portal People and my suppliers 2XU, Speedo and the Middle Brighton Baths. I firmly believe the Bioeffectives and Siberian Red supplements I have been using contributed to my sustained speed throughout the marathon swim especially during the last 2km and I highly recommend them to those wishing to increase their performance (www.solagran.com and www.pineneedleproducts.com ).Thanks to all those from Melbourne, Australia and across the world who have been so supportive of my swimming career especially Gary and Margaret Johnson, Dr Vagiv Soultanov (Solagran), Coach Buddy and Andrew Fox. http://www.chloemccardel.com/the-race-arou...ttan-continues/
