wolverine
interesting today. UMC up a few. THX hold the 20% which as best i can tell means that for every 11c UMC moves THX should move 2c (in the ideal world). UMC spat out some new drill targets today which just has to be getting things heated up. it looks ready to pop and THX should get a lift from both copernicus and the UMC action. Jay
In reply to: wolverine on Thursday 06/03/08 08:39pm looks like its all coming together for a significant run from here wolv. THX should start playing catch up given its significant stake in UMC. mabel hill, copernicus, sophie downs and fleur de lys (think thats how you spell it lol) drill bits about to go in also. Income from June from Copernicus.... market cap less the $38mill at the moment... $11mill in cash and about $22mill in UMC stock....
wolverine
In reply to: Jay on Thursday 06/03/08 09:46pm noice france speaking dude. looks cheap on an asset basis...funny cos i have a portfolio full of undervalued stocks based on assets (and a fat lot of good it is doing me). just have to wait until the value gets unlocked. dylan
In reply to: wolverine on Thursday 06/03/08 09:39pm thx just looks so pathetically undervalued when you assess that umc stake and the recent gains its made ... not to mention the likely re-rate as umc continue to poke holes in pilbira central. every .11 umc goes up should be worth .02 to thx .... but the bigger issue could well be that the THX stake in UMC is going to have a premium attached if UMC comes into play as a takeover target ... puts THX in the gunsights also ... what the hell is going on ???? THX Should be .50+ no directors hyave got their oppies ...
grommit
ANN OUT!! FINALLY:... DRILLING UNDERWAY WITH EARLY SUCCESS AT SOPHIE DOWNS Thundelarra is pleased to report that an early start to the 2008 field season has been achieved with drilling commencing this week at the Sophie Downs base metals project. A ten hole reverse circulation drilling program is being carried out at Sophie Downs as a first pass test of three geophysical anomalies with a combined strike length of over 800 metres. The first two holes have been completed with base metal sulphides observed over broad intervals in both holes. In drillhole THXRC89, visible sulphides were present over a 25 metre zone between 164 metres and 189 metres hole depth, with THXRC90 returning sulphides over a 27 metre interval from 140 metres to 167 metres down hole. Observed sulphides include pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena. Drillhole locations are shown on the attached plan. The results of the first two holes confirm the potential for Volcanogenic Hosted Massive Sulphide (ÃÆâ€â„¢ÃƒÆ’ƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¡Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬ÃƒÆ’â€Â¹Ãƒƒâ€Â¦ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã¢â‚¬Å“VHMSÃÆâ€â„¢ÃƒÆ’ƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¡Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¾Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢) style copper ÃÆâ€â„¢ÃƒÆ’ƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¡Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã‚¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬Ãƒâ€Â¦ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã¢â‚¬Å“ lead ÃÆâ€â„¢ÃƒÆ’ƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¡Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã‚¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬Ãƒâ€Â¦ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã¢â‚¬Å“ zinc ÃÆâ€â„¢ÃƒÆ’ƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¡Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã‚¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬Ãƒâ€Â¦ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã¢â‚¬Å“ silver ÃÆâ€â„¢ÃƒÆ’ƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¡Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã‚¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬Ãƒâ€Â¦ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã¢â‚¬Å“ gold mineralisation at the prospect. However it is expected to be several weeks before assays are available to determine metal grades and further drilling will be required to define the true width of mineralisation. The Sophie Downs project (Thundelarra equity 90%) is located 27 kilometres north of Halls Creek within the East Kimberley. The drilling rig currently at Sophie Downs is scheduled to move to the Mabel Hill nickel project in approximately three weeks to follow up encouraging drill and geophysical results obtained in late 2007. Another drill is due to arrive at Copernicus by early April to complete a program commenced last year that was designed to test for depth extensions to the resource. A third rig is scheduled to commence drilling at the Pyramid base metals project in the West Pilbara by late April or May. The Northern Territory remains rain affected at present, but it is anticipated that drilling will be able to commence at the Fleur de Lys uranium project at a similar time. dylan
would appear to be a screaming buy at these levels. oppies offer great leverage at current prices ... a mere premium of three cents for a year and a halfs leverage into UMC, copernicus, sophie downs etc etc ... anyone offer a view why it has yet to track the UMC share price gains ... ? http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/grrr.gif
