floyd
twr seems to have turned the corner, things looking up in australia and positive in new zealand ..... and the hint of a dividend payout at the f/y result. good buying at todays levels thoughts anyone
Waterfront
Floyd, I agree with your views on TWR. I think the business certainly is in the process of positively addressing the operational issues it confronted 12 months ago. The end of financial year results will define share price outcomes looking forward. If they meet or exceed forecast I believe SP will be significantly redefined. For the 1/2 year to end of March they improved net profit after tax by NZ$40 odd million booking net profit of NZ$20 vs net loss NZ$20 (excluding non-recurring goodwill write off). For the same period total revenues rose 71 percent to NZ$512.8 million, compared to last year. It is well worthy to note that TWR has net tangible asset backing of $1.94/share therefore it is trading at a fair discount. Further confirmation of it sorting out its operations will see this gap close - when I'm not sure as it has run pretty hard from around $1.00 and may need to consolidate around current levels for a period. Waterfront
Hey Floyd, certainly finished strongly @ 1.80 (+.16 - 9.76%) + highest volume since 28/05/04. http://www.ShareScene.com/html/emoticons/cool.gif It certainly appears share price is being re rated to reflect NTA. I wonder what the impetus behind today was though? Cheers - Go TWR
Waterfront
TWR traded up today and particularly this arvo and closed @ 1.83 (however on reduced volume relative to the last 5 trading days). http://www.ShareScene.com/html/emoticons/lmaosmiley.gif It seems on the cards that the gap down created on 04/11/02 is going to be filed. It needs to trade to $2 to facilitate this at which point share price will give a reasonable reflection of NTA as previously discussed.
floyd
currently trading above $2.00 on the nz market, actually $2.02 at last look and $1.85 on the asx. new 12 month highs for both markets, looking forward to the fy results..... http://www.ShareScene.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif
thekiwi
Has held its gains nicely since 19/7/2004 and closing above 184 was a good sign for a continuation. Weekly chart chart show the interesting territory TWR now finds itself .... too cool http://www.ShareScene.com/html/emoticons/cool.gif
