nipper
A general question on the big 2 (WOW, WES) plus one (MTS) supermarket / liquor operators. I heard, somewhat anecdotally, that Metcash derives a significant proportion of profits from WA - aided by the restricted trading hours. Could any WA contributors pass a judgement on how solid this is situation? Will WA succumb to more liberal trading hours? Is there any timetable or political realignment such that this would happen? It is an opinion that MTS would suffer if longer hours etc came in.
