Well it appears Merrill's have agreed to a $44bn offer from BofA.

Good deal for BoA.

IMO Merrill's shouldnÃÆâ€â„¢ÃƒÆ’ƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¡Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¬ÃƒÆ’¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢Ã¢â€š¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚¬ÃƒÆ’…¾Ãƒâہ¡ÃƒÆ’‚¢t be selling themselves so cheaply.. they have turned the corner as far as their business is concerned.

if wasn't for Lehman blow out, for sure Merrill can be sold at much better price, but the time is runing out, if it not sell it now, it might become next Lehman.

once this big consolidation in financials is over, we could see a stable market going forward.

NAB looks gonna catch up for some down side, that $21 is in sight. that Alco news really had Nab on the strings . i hope NAB can get $21, then i will do some real buying. it's 10% away.

ANZ looks in a much better shape than NAB. one to consider to build good position to trade it atm.

as for consolidation with our market, keep eye on SUN------- it is the one will be the target.

had little problem with you

where ware you when NAB burst through $25??

only a freindly poke at cha!! http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

if you are short, don't forget lock in some profit, this market can turn really fast!!

UK - Lloyds TSB and HBOS in merger/takeover - no 4 & 5 banks

HBOS owns our BankWest

I guess we have already done one medium sized one (WBC + StGeorge)

NAB - ANZ our weakest so ??

if necessary 4-pillars policy out the window
