Anyone follow this up and coming copper miner AVB? Currently proving up a major resource in BRAZIL.

Cash in the kitty and technically appears to be setting up for a major breakout. Any thoughts?

> At a 0.1% copper cut-off the global copper oxide JORC resource increases to:

17.6 Mt at 0.48% copper, containing 84,400t of copper.

> The very high grade zone resource is open on strike and at depth. The Company is now targeting 500,000t of very high grade zone mineralisation and 20Mt of global copper oxide resources on the Rio Verde Property. Additional up-side associated with sulphide and precious metals mineralisation is under review.

I've been patiently sitting on my AVB for a few months now waiting for some further progress on their exceptional grade copper project in Brazil ..... but now have two projects to wait for as their nickel project is currently being drilled . AVB management claim it is analogous to MBN's Brazilian Santa Rita nickel project . AVB marcap $7 million and MBN's marcap $990 million . Could be a very significant set of nickel assays that send AVB alot higher rather than the JORC copper . Young co but worth looking at . Very cheap imo .

I got 1.1m AVBOBs this morning at 0.017. Seems to be a bit of interest in this now. Like you am hoping that the Cu will take care of most of the downside. Dont know how much excitement a Ni find will provide, considering it is the biggest bear in the metals and may be for some time.

Doubled up on the AVBOBs. Like you say it may retrace but though it best not to hold out for a couple of pips. Just need some positive news before they need to raise any more capital!

AVB have had a great run over the past few months.

 

month on month ( 6/10 ~ 6/11) up 90%.

 

little bit of a 'traffic jam" here, but may well break through.

tp4, I got out at 0.021 on the AVBOBs. They need cash. That fact combined with any poor drill results on the nickel project/market downturn may see it flatline or possibly go down. Keeping an eye on it though.
