wolverine
In reply to: Boomer on Wednesday 16/05/07 09:05pm hi boomer with spare cash allowing i would humbly suggest it is a fairly low risk way to add to a winning position.
Boomer
In reply to: wolverine on Wednesday 16/05/07 09:30pm G'day Wolverine, Yes there are lots of different entry strategies out there. The beaut thing about 'blue sky breakouts' is that everyone is in the money and no overhanging selling pressure. Very nice... http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif Cheers Boomer
bello
In reply to: wolverine on Wednesday 16/05/07 09:30pm I have accumulated moderate sized parcels at it has risen off the GOG options abandonment, including some at 19.5 cents . With DLS approaching the 1000 bopd mark, a major drill in August with a global oil major, increasing reserves, new wells almost every week with Aust oil major, technical strength, and negotiated change of "control", I like it . albion
In reply to: bello on Thursday 17/05/07 10:26am Only one seller left with 10K at .195, 700K taken out at .195 this morning. Control announcement could see DLS move into the 20,s. Know I have been critical of DLS in the past but that really was a management issue. But DLS is looking very interesting now and the market is starting to take notice. 20 today?
bello
In reply to: albion on Thursday 17/05/07 11:00am Fair enough .Some management tactics have left us all scratching our heads . However the fundamentals just kept improving over the last year . Lets hope the upcoming Bounty drill in June off Tanzania with an ex Hardman manager in the JV comes up with a successful result confirming the "new oil province" . marathon
In reply to: albion on Thursday 17/05/07 11:00am Yes DLS was a dog for so long but with Santos and Exxon as partners, some new directors, plus a whiff of "change of control transaction",and the price of oil holding over $US60-some credibility returns. albion
In reply to: bello on Thursday 17/05/07 11:08am Dont really like buying right at the top, but took that last lot of 48K at .195 still 1373 to complete order. Must have pushed buyer to 20. Right into blue sky now and as one poster mentioned no stale holders going back 16 years at this level.
