I just wonder if Native Cu is included in the figures annnounced today. I have a feeling it excludes native Cu.

In reply to: maldivian on Thursday 27/11/08 08:16pm may be maldivian . hope so. We waited for the very robust economics for the previous attempt. I hope that on this occassion they will not prove to be a mirage. I do know that at some stage the Intec boys will crack it. Cannot go wrong. hydrometallurgy is a growing segment of a growing industry (mining) . I envisage it will probably be regulated in existence. I have created stricter criteria. I will follow them tightly in terms of timing.

I think PW is goying for glory, driven by a neednot to be a failure. I think he will get it right ultimately but burn s/h funds 3 times over till he does. I am essentially out and will not get back in until PW et al show us how they can make money.

In reply to: 1LOT4U on Monday 08/09/08 01:03pm Area has lots of Zinc. Even if everything goes awful, mill is probably worth $50m ($150m replacement). That is 5c per share. But if they get mill to work with Zn say $1.20 c per pound. They will probably be making $10-15m per annum probably more. In my opinion they could restart at $1 per pund US. but may wait till $1.1`0 per pound US Then they may do deals with BSM et al. What is point for these explorers to build own mills. Plenty of scope from here.

In reply to: BSA on Monday 08/09/08 11:48am Having led us to believe that augmentation with EAF dust (ZnO) was possible, indeed probable, I think the minimum we could have expected from todays announcement was reason why it did not happen.

In reply to: BSA on Friday 05/09/08 04:54pm BSA, The real question is has the downtrend broken. I run a crossover on a mathematical combination on Dema and Times series forecast. Gives me good smoothing and quick response. Usually pretty good. Tells me downtrend broken. I think the worse that can happen is consolidation for a few weeks. cheers

In reply to: veeone on Tuesday 19/08/08 11:07am that plant is jointly owned between ZFX (now- forget new code) and Nyrstar. In the Fin review recently it was reported that a major disagreement for pricing of raw material to ZFX had occurred. It may be part of the process to sell the 50% to either of the two joint owners. Ie ZFX or Nyrstar keeps it.

In reply to: catihouse on Thursday 07/08/08 03:30pm Philip is playing with the best hand he has. May be INL have been unlucky with the choice of metal for first large application. I say unlucky because we can be wise in retrospect. The structure of the deals may need looking into eg check out MFC for possible model. Interesting to note MFC also have had problems with Sulphuric acid runaway costs (going to courts to guarantee contracts). I still think that Polymetals may get finger in pie on recycling project. Separation at Hellyer was too clinical for me to think otherwise. Interesting times ahead.

I have a sneaking suspicion polymetals is the buyer for INL and that they are using their Hellyer profits to buy a big stake in INL. Just a suspicion. Only a small chance it is true.

In reply to: allanc on Thursday 31/07/08 09:15pm Re CMR, I acually think that the INL (part INL) option is the go. The other option has been brought to the table so that INL does not charge a fortune. If I were CMR and negotiating with INL, I too would develop my best alternative to a negotiated agreement. Financiers (and Chinese) may look +ly to such an approach as well.

In reply to: allanc on Thursday 31/07/08 02:47pm golfnut, "Always a worry when a company leaves reporting until after close of market on the last day, just about guarantee it will be bad so lets hope its out real soon. cheers" is not a fact . Its circumstantantilal evidence in support of innuendo. Lets talk facts. Fact is re CMR down to 2 processes each of which will need a pilot plant. Plenty of work for IONL on go ahead.
