QUOTE (hieronymus @ Thursday 19/01/06 02:26pm) Well it wasn't today http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/thumbdown.gif. The company announced today a 0.7% increase in net profit after tax for the six months ended 31 December to $60.5 million. The result was delivered on a 4% increase in revenue to $1.52 billion. CEO Ray Horsburgh said the company was pleased with the result because it had been achieved in a period in which different parts of our customer base experienced very different trading conditions. The share price fell by 27c to $1.29 at the close http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif.

  7. You make a $65M loss and your shares go up just over 10%. I wonder how much would they have gone up had they made a profit http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/lmaosmiley.gif. International pharmaceutical company, Mayne Pharma, today announced statutory net profit after tax ("NPAT") was a loss of $65.8 million for the six-months ended 31 December 2005. The company advised that it had commenced a number of operational and strategic reviews in different areas of the business that would report back to the executive committee in March.

Nice bounce off the 50% fib in late Jan. Today saw it break through the highs of the recent twin peaks on increased volume today

In reply to: BSA on Tuesday 21/02/06 09:46am Although the stock has risen by over 5% today, most analysts were yesterday saying that it is fully valued at the moment, obviously not everyone thinks so.

In reply to: theking on Thursday 19/01/06 11:26am I thought the real reason the volume is going up is that most it's rumoured that the foundations are made of the gold coming out of the mine there http://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/wink.gifhttp://www.sharescene.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
