Happy New Year all It will only be a happy new year if you get out before the death of a thousand cuts. As an exuberant holder until 18 months ago it really does make me sad to see the same exuberance with the same old names, then the new ones that post for a couple of years before disappearing . . . . . losing their shirts over and over and over again. VCR had its chance several years ago when it was going to be on the market in 2004, then 2005, then 2007 etc. The time has now passed as stem cells are here for sure in the next decade, so all of this R & D will be worth nothing by the time that VCR get there. Good luck to all, I hope that you find your pot of gold - but even if it arrives then surely you would all be sensible to remove your well earned cash and watch, maybe lose 20c by not being in at the time - but use your money elsewhere. Gold up 30% odd this year - what does that tell you ? It tells me not to speculate and to ride out the storm with minimal exposure until something serious happens. Happy prospecting and I hope that you all prove me wrong . . . . . Doc

So Einstein got it wrong. . . . Are the ever-faithful now going to tell us that the DT news must have been factored in to the SP of this dead dog. It must be revivable, but can't think what might do it ! I can't think why on earth people are still buying . . . Good luck all Doc

Hi Nova Sounds like you're in up to the hilt. What happens if MSB or other biotech announces that they can use their stem cell technology on cardiac muscle. It is not too many years away . . . . Good luck Doc

Same old ........same old.......... Good luck all - I still have no faith in this company. That being said, you would think that it would have to find a bottom soom ! Doc

VCR is going from bad to worse. More promises but slow on action. I've been out since 1.19 a couple of months ago, but wouldn't be taking it up at 80c anyway. That being said, they usually manage to pull a rabbit out of the hat with their cap raisings between commitment date and new share start date to keep the new punters happy (for a while). Good luck all. Still losing faith in this company Doc

I seem to remember one from a couple of weeks ago but could well be mistaken. All a bit tongue in cheek regarding the gap though ! Cheers Doc

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah Now that the 100.5 gap has been filled, the SP may be a bit free-er to follow the trend ! Cheers Doc

Excellent hunting Vyking ! And very intruiging it is too, patenting a trial design . . .. . . presumably this is what they were referring to when they alluded to having something up their sleeves last year to rocket power the flight to FDA approval. I think that its unlikely that they'll have to trial the TETS on patients separately as it is just a way of getting energy to the Ventrassist - they'd probably be able to test its reliability etc in the lab rather than on patients. . . . Its good to see VCR confident enough in their product to start getting these 'feelgood' ann.s out again. I still think that it will close the gap . . . . Good luck all. Doc

I can't believe that the spike on such good, excellent news was so short lived. . . . . . It interrupted what looked as though it was going to be an aweful day for VCR. So I took profits and jumped ship at 1.135. Good luck all Doc

In reply to: RobAde on Monday 04/12/06 04:22pm And as someone who worked in the NHS for 10 years, I can agree wholeheartedly. Trouble is that it is a dinosaur, and change in mindset (eg instituting new treatments) is very very slow - more like a battleship than a dinosaur maybe . . . Doc
