  1. from yesterdays herald sun by lucy carne and if you head to the federal government's website, you'll find a bewildering 1827 words explaining who can get vaccinated under lb, it's staggering that we're still stumbling through this rollout. surely if we want to vaccinate the population swiftly, it's time to scrap age restrictions and make any vaccine available to anyone. enlist Aldi's effiicient checkout staff to do the jabs, through in a sky jacket with your vaccine and you'll get the masses jabed in no time.

  5. like chance gardener says in the DVD being there i like to watch, while there are few posters on share scene there are heaps of people who are content to stay in the background and pick up the occasional bit of information that helps us win in the game that is called the stock markey.
  6. are english speakers verbally insane ? in what other language do people recite at a play and play at a recital, ship by truck and send cargo by ship have noses that run and feet that smell, how can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites ?

  12. i am reading DOT BOMB AUSTRALIA by Kate askew, while it isn't a investment book it shows how many people have made and lost a fortune in the dot com bubble. in it you read how Malcolm turnbull made his 1st fortune from ozemail, also why Steve vizard can't be a company director till 2015. a very good read

  15. what i do is keep a daily record in a book of stocks i hold and stocks i am interested in,. the price of stocks that are up i write in black, down in red, this is much better than watch lists on your computer as you can track the prices much better. for example SFH was $1.26 on 8/11, today they are $1.05 MXI was 28 cents 8/11 today 26 cents MCO was 41.cent's 8/11 today 47 cents.
  16. hi balance have you seen the films, the girl with the dragon tattoo and the girl who played with fire. both films were very well done, next year the girl who kicked the hornet's nest is being released, the other two books i am keeping for my holiday reading.
  17. the best fiction book i have read this year is THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO by stieg larsson. from page 520 you have to distinguish between two things-the Swedish economy and the Swedish stock market. the Swedish economy is the sum of all the goods and services that are produced in the country every day, these are telephones from Ericsson, cars from Volvo chickens from scan and shipments from Karina to stoved, thats the Swedish economy, and it's just as strong or weak today as it was a week ago the stock exchange is something very different. there is no economy and no production of goods and services. there are only fantasies in which people from one hour to the next decide that this or that company is worth so many billions, more or less, it doesn't have a thing to do with reality of with the Swedish economy.

    Gold

this is a extract from a extrate from Trevor Sykes's new book about the GFC six months of panic page 30,31 the weekend Australian financial review. the united states economy, the worlds largest was supposed to be in recovery. by traditional economic yardsticks, however the US is a basket case. the federal budget deficit has reached $US.4 trillion and the accumulated deficit is $7.5 trillion. to put those numbers in perspective, 1.4 trillion seconds is 4000 years. total US debt, public and private amounts to 380%of GDP. the united states is saved from insolvency only by the fact it prints the world's reserve currency. it's future depends upon how long the rest of the world wants to hold Yankee dollars. THE USA IS SAVED FROM INSOLVENCY ONLY BY THE FACT THAT IT PRINTS THE WORLD' RESERVE CURRENCY. go to goggle and type federal reservedv01, up will pop dozends of blogs discussing the future bankruptcy of the fed which, on foward curves as at may 2010 was estimated as happening in about 1015. six months of panic by Trevor Sykes [Allen and unwin $55 ] the price of gold hasn't reached anywhere near it's peak.
  19. last night i viewed wall street , the original one on TV, today i saw wall street at the theater, a very good film helping to explain[ not that we don't know] how the American banks and bond dealers led the world down the path of financial destruction loosing billions a must see.

    MCO

hi triage yes i am disappointed that the commissioning of the gold processing plant is being held back, i read the HC posts for fun rather than information, some of the claims they post are very inaccurate . i should have sold some of my shares last week @ 42 cents, i held back because i expected a announcement re the plant start up. last month i sold @ 37 cents and bought back @ 35 cents, i may sell some next week depending on the price strength, as far as the rose of Denmark is concerned, MCO is being payed to develop it so no loss to shareholders, i see a problem in bringing up enough ore from the MCO shaft to keep the plant working so any ore from the ROD will come in handy
  21. that is MY bridge you are trying to sell please make payment by western union money transfer as it is the safest way of sending money.

    Gold

on the SBS news tonight they said that 54 million Americans were living on or under the poverty line. i read that the " experts" say they expect the price of gold to go down to $800 per ounce in the next 3 years and the Australian $ to be in the 82 cent range, tell them their dreaming.

    MCO

gold today at a record $1269.30, with MCO about to go into production, the only downside is a strong Australian $.
  24. dick smith is a accidental millionaire, anybody who read THE DICK SMITH WAY by Ike bain would give a very good insight into the way dick smith thinks. my shot at getting my hands on the million $ is , the labor party want to send unemployed to the bush to get jobs and will pay them $6,000, my idea is to pay them the money to move to new Zealand , both countries win, we get rid of unemployed and NZ gets more population. disclaimer, I'm a fan of dick smith
