    UMC

I don't think the rise in UMC shareprice is really being taken into account yet in the THX shareprice. Last time UMC was at this level, THX's shareprice was above 70c. Currenlty 48.5 with a market cap of about $50mill. THX hold: UMC 20,400,000 @ $1.10 = $22,440,000 UMCO 12,116,667 @ $0.90 = $10,905,000 ROY 1,000,000 @ $0.33 = $330,000 plus some shares in Aldershot listed on TSX Total stock in other companies is: $33,675,000 Strip this out of the $50mill market cap and we are left with $16,325,000 Copernicus nickel project set to come online in the second quarter of 2008 to provide cashflow, which should net them anywhere between $20-$30m p.a. Lots of drilling results to come in the next few weeks from Francis Maude and Spinifex uranium projects and further drilling campaign at Copernicus. New nickel deposit discovered at Mabel Hill last week also, with Voisey Bay characteristics. All in all, lots on the go and a tiny market cap once you strip out stock held. I am continuing to accumulate on weakness.

  3. In reply to: percivalw on Monday 08/10/07 01:51pm percival, you seem to be confusing share price appreciation with technical diffulties in getting Bronzewing up and running to full capacity. Yes AXM looks good shareprice wise, and yes they had to raise substantial amounts of cash (more then VRE has had to) but they get the pat on the back from you because the price has rallied since.... VRE market is still working through the punters, and is doing so nicely imo. the average punter/retail investor probably has in excess of 100k shares, so to me thats all it seems like it is.
  4. No decent amounts of stock have come loose in the last two days. just retail punters is all. Scared shitless ppl who know no better. Can someone name one company who hasnt had ramp up issues in the last two years due to external factors? I certainly can't. Give them some time ppl, They are on a massive growth path and are expanding the ground around them. Why would they be acquiring/JV'ing more land if they didnt things were sweet or would be sweet very very soon. IMC dont have a problem increasing their stake, and they have representation on the board, so you would assume they know exactly what is going on. I am holding and topping up.

David Summit has absolutely roasted you guys who are whinging about the options package. Tell me something... if the shareprice was hitting new highs who would be complaining about the strike price then? People need to stop whinging imo. The company is doing it best, it can't help it that us/the market refuses to pay up. If you are sick of seeing the shareprice down, then start buying large amounts at market. i am sure that would spur on others to buy also. Afterall, the market is just people like you and me...

In reply to: salts on Friday 28/09/07 06:19pm THXO overvalued now compare to the ords Salts. During the last run up THXO didnt have much time value at all, and since then time has elapsed. I would take the profit on the THXO and by some THX, but thats just me....

  17. with respect to the top holders, the top 10 hold 48%+ of the company. 18. In reply to: laura on Tuesday 25/09/07 05:16pm The volumes in the weeks prior to the suspension were very small, so its my opinion that no one "in the know" sold. VRE is a very very tight lipped ship, with no leaks imo. i did not notice anyone of any size selling, and i watch it every day. I spoke with the company today, Willie Rowe. All is fine guys, the ramp up is taking a little longer then expected (big deal) and this has meant a smaller profit for this quarter (more for next qtr and beyond). due to their growth aspirations they were relying on this extra profit this qtr to fund this growth in the coming qtr. They confirmed they are making a profit and costs have not blown out, rather then let this smaller profit spoil their growth aspirations eg Carnilya Hill, they have decided to get some short term finance just in case they need it (doesnt mean it will be speant however). the de-hedging suits me, as i believe gold will rally further, and they have only closed out 25% of their hedging anyway, so its not a big deal. IMC and Lion Selection would not have tipped in loads more at 40c if things were bad, and Fat Profits have done their homework also. Most companies bringing on new mines the last two years have had delays due to staff and machinery, VRE has been no different. If anyone is worried call Willie Rowe on 0417 931 254 Cheers
  19. breaking out today on some solid volume today. i have taken a small position so far.

UMC up another 7% and THX is starting to follow. Market depth looks great, just need a few big players to start paying up and we are away. so much hidden value in THX that needs to be unlocked. Upcoming drilling at Copernicus looks good also, and will/could mean extended mine life. Lots of assays due in the next few weeks from the numerous projects they have on the go. I am holding, and think $1 could be reached in the next few months.

In reply to: s 8 on Monday 24/09/07 03:19pm inside day on stronger volumes and the market is looking great. tomorrow should be good on THX. UMC firm close, market has to wake up sooner or later.

    UMC

Nice move again today on some solid volumes. THX still lagging though, with a little bit of profit taking there. Still seems the cheaper entry to UMC to me. I hold both.
  23. In reply to: jojosydney on Monday 24/09/07 09:46am de-hedging has been well received by the markets lately in other cases such as NCM, LGL, DRA to name a few. I think that part is a wise move imo. They have had some teething problems with the start up. Most companies these days have had. Doesnt sounds like they are raising more capital, but maybe increasing their debt facility. Guess we will have to wait and see.

In reply to: kennedyn on Friday 21/09/07 04:20pm looking much better. lots of news from uranium drilling and Copernicus update to come over the next 4-8 weeks also. UMC, THX's largest shareholding had a good day also. technically, exponential moving averages crossed and spreading now which is a strong buy signal.

    UMC

UMC starting to run again on some solid volumes. THX hold a significant number of UMC and havent moved "yet". Could be the cheaper entry and exposure to it. I hold UMC and THX.
