Hi all. The following is my opinion only. The allocation to KAH of 7.3 Million shares @ $8.35 Per share to raise $60.9 Million is the issue to EXT`S latest announcement. EXT would be aware of the total shares( enough to know they fall well short of what is required to carry the RESOLUTION) That is where the problem lies. If I am correct then IHB the company should cancel this allocation, and then just allocate the 15% allowable under listing rule 7.1, and then those shares can be allocated to any friendly Corporation or Ivestors, and then Companies RIO & ITOCHU can be excluded, these two companies got their shares through the back door so to speak in that the companies that sold their shares were under duress. EXT could sell these shares and raise well over $300 Million with that being the case, EXT will have raised enough to proceed with construction. With the DFS not far away and the granting of the mining license, and a upgraded JORC resource, the share price should move up a fair bit, by then EXT would be able to allocate another 15%, if the first 15% is done ($300 Million) the next 15% would bring in over $400 Million with the extra 15% already allocated, that is not taking into account of any S/P increase. The close relationship Between EXT & KAH as ruled by the ASX is fair to say the least, and that is why the vote needed has fallen over. Cheers. Simmo.

Cheer up fellow EXTer`s, its only the big boys pushing the S/P down as was evidenced by the top 20 I posted after requesting it. Now this should make you smile. Rio`s uranium arm slips. With the news in the following link, it should make all of us . that`s of course if Rio want to be one of the biggest uranium miner-suppliers in the world, with this release that their 68% holding in ERA, and that they ERA have announced a 83% profit slide because of lower grade ore and would stop processing ore for the next 3 months because of problems with their tailings dam. Myself I could not see Rio not wanting to be a major contributor to the future of the worlds power needs also with Rio`s Rossing mine in trouble , and the price of URANIUM going through the roof, they would be Fools as major Mining House not to have a more diverse mining objective, and place all their eggs in two basket so to speak. Iron Ore & Coal. Enough of my waffling, here is the link. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/business/rios-...f-1225996484262 Cheers. Simmo.

Oil Giant Saudia Arabia Looks to Alternative Energy. var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://ssl." : "http://www."); document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost + "google-analytics.com/ga.js' type='text/javascript'%3E%3C/script%3E")); var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("UA-2467371-6"); pageTracker._setCookiePath("/hostednews/"); pageTracker._trackPageview(); By Acil Tabbara (AFP) – 1 day agoRIYADH  With vast oil reserves that are far from exhausted, Saudi Arabia, facing rising domestic energy demand that could cut into its oil exports, has decided to explore nuclear and renewable energy, Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi has said. "We have started to take the required steps to utilise several energy sources locally, in particular solar and nuclear energy," he told a conference in Riyadh. The kingdom has massive proven reserves. In November, Naimi put the figure at 264 billion barrels, and said Saudi Arabia was capable of supplying crude for the next 80 years at current production levels "even if we never found another barrel." However, Saudi Arabia anticipates a rise in domestic energy demand, which within 20 years could see an increase in domestic oil consumption to around eight million barrels per day, approaching its current output, a former commerce minister and head of a Saudi energy research centre said. "The demand for electricity is steadily increasing -- it was 40 gigawatts in 2010, and is expected to reach 120 gigawatts in 2032," Hashem Yamani, the director of the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy, told journalists. At the same time, he said, "local demand for oil, which is currently about 3.2 million barrels per day, could rise to eight million barrels per day in 2028." "This will ultimately limit the export capacity of the kingdom, and of development," he said. "That is why we are determined to transform a country dependent solely on oil to different sources of energy -- nuclear and renewables." "Thus we can conserve oil" and keep it for export, said Yamani, adding that the kingdom could produce renewable energy -- solar and wind -- within eight to 10 years and nuclear energy by 2020. "We are consulting with everybody who has technology in these areas -- Koreans, British, Americans, Japanese and French," including the French group Areva, he said, which is a major player in the global nuclear industry. Areva chief executive Anne Lauvergeon, who was in Riyadh to explore the local market, has stressed that Saudi Arabia is "an important market." During her visit, Lauvergeon signed an agreement with the Saudi Bin Laden Group on cooperation in the fields of solar and nuclear energy. "We are very sensitive to energy developments in Saudi Arabia, where there is a willingness to move toward nuclear power," she said in Riyadh. "The division between fossil fuels and renewables is dead, as is the idea that there will be one energy (source) that is more important than others. The world needs all the energy solutions," she said at a conference in the kingdom. She told journalists that Areva is developing, with the aid of Saudi petrochemicals giant Aramco, a pilot project on solar thermal energy for evaluating the technology at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. She said that Areva had also proposed "boosting existing power plants that run on fuel oil or coal with a mixed system," which the company had already tested in Australia. Saudi Arabia signed a cooperation agreement on civil nuclear technology with the United States in 2008, and has held talks with France and Russia on similar agreements. The kingdom's government approved plans for a peaceful nuclear cooperation pact with Russia in October, and in July gave the nod to a similar deal with France. Cheers. Simmo.
  5. Hi mme. This is what VMS projected based on a price of $US 18,000 per tonne. Operating Revenue P/A $127M. Operating Cost P/A $47M. Net Cash P/A $80M. Net Cash Life of Mine $531M. Capital Costs $130M. Internal Rate of Return 55% (50% Debt, 50% Equity. With a current price of $28,000 Per Tonne, the company profits will increase by well over a third of their projections above, I believe the company will produce a considerable amount of more Tin. Cash at hand in the last qtr was $7,729,000, with est cash out flows for this qtr of $1,706,000. Also with the capital injection of $18,000,000. Options Exercisable on the 31/8/2011 9,580,000 @ 50c = $4,790,000. Options Exercisable on the 20/2/2012 11,525,000 @ 30c = $3,457,500. This gives the company just over $32Million. This gives the company plenty of cash for the DFS and ongoing drilling to prove a bigger jorc resource, the S/P should increase quite substantially by then, saving the company to have to dilute the S/H base, also as I stated above, they will IMHO up the production rate. Cheers. Simmo.
  6. mme. & Arty. I hope you both still hold, as I have been accumulating on weakness, and concur that VMS could & most likely have the largest Tin deposit in the world. Some more good news the tin price has hit another new high. KUALA LUMPUR. The tin price on the Kuala Lumpur Tin Market (KL.TM) rose by US$220 to close at a fresh high of US$27,720 per tonne today. (yesterday). The tin price on the KL.TM was tracking the firmer overnight commodity prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME). dealers said. A dealer said, demand was still strong, particularly from Europe but sellers are reluctant to sell at higher prices. "We expect there will be less offerings in the local market this week as the price is expected to rise further`, bolstered by strong demand for the commodity overseas. "The local tin price is likely to hit US$28,000 a tonne in a day or two."he added. On the LME. the tin price surged US$350 to US$28,095 a tonne. Turnover on the KL.TM was down to 40 tonnes from the 100 tonnes on Monday with the participation of Japanese, European and local traders. Meanwhile, the price differential between the KL.TM and LME. narrowed to a premium of US$45 a tonne against the US$175 a tonne previously.- BERNAMA. I would like to thank newminer1000 from another forum for this post. Cheers. Simmo.

jtmlee. Those shares you talk of will most likely be withdrawn, I still believe it is Global xfunds, they have increased their holdings to over 778,000 shares, as I posted the top 20 today someone is definately shaking the tree because of the increase in holdings by the Majors, and there is no mention of globalxfunds unless they are being held by HSBC CUSTODY NOMINEES (AUSTRALIA)LIMITED. Hi all. Here is the latest Top 20. The major shareholders have increased their holdings from 87.48% TO 88.16%. Some noticeable ommissions from the list and some big increases by some majors. Ironside have disposed of a considerable amount of shares they have gone from No 15th spot with 654,660. & No 17th spot with 634,628 shares. http://www.extractresources.com/investors/...areholders.html. 12. Hi Flower. In your last sentence you state let force the freeloaders to look after themselves. Could not agree more, actually they are to a certain extent, to make sure that there is no dependance on goverments, every worker should be forced to salary sacrifice a percentage of their income through there working life to help fund there retirement. Naturally, there will be the sick and not so bright that will not be able to do this, that the Goverment will have to look after. Arty. Another point I would like to let you know about is, if you retire at age 60 at the present moment, get all your money, you can get incentives off the goverment up to $30,000 Tax free to go back in the workforce, I know a person who has recieved this. Enough of my waffling, hope i have helped on this discussion. Cheers. Simmo.

Hi Gero. Dalatta`s, statement on the buying of EXT & KAH shares is not correct, as I stated last week they are shaking the tree so to speak. I posted on the 31/12/2010 Dalatta`s post from the other forum, that GXF had increased their holdings of both EXT & KAH by 44,550 to 683,100, 113,700 to 1,739,700, respectively ist they may have increased their holding, but not in the buying of `9,800 on a daily basis, this is GXF s holdings`on a daily basis From. 5/1/11, EXT 732,500. KAH. 1,865,700. 6/1/11, EXT 721,500. KAH. 1,842,533. 7/1/11 EXT 726,400. KAH. 1,854,933. From your post Gero care of Dalatta, they now hold respectively, 755,800. 1,929,333. What I am trying to say is hold on to your trousers, and ladies hold on to your knickers, because they are the ones shaking the tree, they are trying to get as many shares as possible, and that is why I stated keep your bottoms covered up, because it will be hard enough to keep them up by the price & weight of our shares. DO NOT SELL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, We will get our $20 per share if we are T/O, even more if we get to production. I am not a investment advisor, but have been in the share market for over 30 years , and know ,when your on a Good Thing Stick To iT, Ext was not the number one share on the ASX for nothing in 2009. Do not be shaken.. Also all my EXT & KAH Friends have a look at , BDR. AVB,& VMS. Please do your own research. Cheers. Simmo.

NAMIBIA ANNOUNCES URANIUM ENRICHMENT GOAL. Wed Jan 5th. <H1 class=headline>Namibia Announces Uranium Enrichment Goal</H1>Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 Namibia plans to seek a uranium enrichment capability that would make use of the southern African nation's considerable uranium deposits, the Inter Press Service reported today (see GSN, Jan. 26, 2009). "The uranium and nuclear energy policy to be developed will cover the entire nuclear fuel cycle, being uranium exploration, mining, milling and nuclear energy (generation)," Namibian Mining Minister Isak Katali said at a recent atomic policy forum. Namibia is being assisted in development of its first atomic energy plan by Finland's Nuclear and Radiation Authority. The policy, along with accompanying legislation, is slated to be finished halfway through this year. The country wants to begin producing electrical power from an atomic reactor no later than 2018. "It is the expressed decision of the Namibian government to seriously consider the development of nuclear power in order to complete the national energy mix and provide sufficient energy for our development," Katali said. In 2009, Namibia was the fourth-highest generator of mined uranium with an annual production rate of approximately 5,000 tons. "We have big uranium resources and we work together with the International Atomic Energy Agency to achieve a strong policy framework for a safe and efficient nuclear policy for peaceful purposes only," Namibian mining official Joseph Iita said. Nuclear nonproliferation advocates are wary of the proliferation of full nuclear-fuel cycle capabilities as the technologies could be exploited to produce bomb-grade material. Namibia is a member nation to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. It has signed a safeguards agreement with the U.N. nuclear watchdog, along with the Additional Protocol that allows for authorizes enhanced IAEA inspections (see GSN, Nov. 4, 2010). Africa is a declared nuclear weapons-free zone. The Pelindaba Treaty, which went into force in 2009, prohibits the development, acquisition, manufacture, or possession of any nuclear explosive device on the African continent or its surrounding islands. Namibia has signed but not ratified the treaty. "Namibia is committed to achieving a world free of nuclear weapons, where nations and peoples can live in peace and harmony and we welcome the entry into force of the African Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone Treaty," Namibian Foreign Affairs Minister Utoni Nujoma said at the 2010 NPT review conference. "We regard this milestone as an important step for regional peace and security. Namibia is in the process of ratifying this important instrument," he added (Brigitte Weidlich, Inter Press Service, Jan. 5). Cheers. Simmo.

Hi all. I just thought I would let you all know, that the person or persons pushing the s/p down again today, he or she is back on the Buy & Sell side, normally that person puts 3,000 shares on both the buy & sell side at about 19c- 24c apart, today they have a amount of 2400 shares either side, the reason I know this is I have dynamic data, and I see the amount of shares that I am refering to come on together. Also Global xfunds have aquired more shares. EXT . now 722,700 Shares ,was 683,100. KAH. now 1,840,700 Shares, was 1,739,700. I would say that was the reason the S/P went up earlier in the week. Cheers. Simmo.
