Hi all. Here is a statement from PDN and Extract Re trying to calm the investing public. So finally ext say they will try and get clarification from the Namibian Goverment, about bloody time. I can not paste it, if you wish to read it go to DOW Newswire. Cheers. Simmo.

Hi Drag In the link below, from the Dow newswire they the Namibian goverment seem to be standing by Mines & Energy minister Isak Katalis statements, and I can definately see the Chinese resubmitting a lot lower bid, if they are still interested, of course I believe they are. Also on top of the 40% they already are going to recieve which is allowed for in the DFS, we have Epangelo wanting maybe 5% & 0r BEE wanting the same. If you read Marencia Energy`s activities statement they have completed all documentary requirements to give effect to the transfer of 5% of Marencia Uranium project to the company`s BEE partner in Namibia, Mellenium Minerals. They the Namibians are f/wits, they only care about themselves, not the investors that have invested hundreds of Millions of $$$$$$$$$$$$$, so the way I read it we are dead in the water. I posted the link, and all it showed was my access into cmc markets. To read the dow newswire go to the asx announcements and you can read it for yourself. Cheers. Simmo.

Hi all. Uranium s/ps should pick up again by the end of 2011. The average uranium equity has declined 34.4%, with the majority of s/prices weakening more than 30%. the effect on uranium mining Companies with larger Market/Caps has generally been slightly more favourable with Cameco, Paladin and Extract demonstrating s/p declines of just over 20%. While the spot price has declined only 16%, down from $68 per pound to $57.25 per pound. there is more in the following link. http://uraniuminvestingnews.com/7556/urani...n-recovery.html Cheers. Camus501. A lot of people here have forgot what Martin Leslie stated about 4 weeks ago at a speech & address he gave in america, he stated that the DFS may be delayed for up to three weeks, as the company had to get this spot on, and remembering the read on this you may all be in for a surprise, as I believe that the DFS will be a surprise to all ,in that the cost to produce every pound will be as cheap chips, also our EXT is not stupid as ihb we will have a surprise also on the size of the resource, they EXT have not dissapointed in the past. So cheer up my friends. Cheers. Simmo.

Fireblade. I concur with you completely, as you state we have been offered a pittance compared to Mantra, I should say if we recieve the same offer as KAH. And on top of that we are closer to infrastructure, I also agree with LE that the offer should be close to the $15-$16 mark. The trouble with CGNPC is they tend to make these offers, and when a problem arises they substantially reduce the original offer, the reason I say that is, they offered Linc energy roughly about $2.5 billion for their coal & tenements and when the global financial crisis hit they reduced it to about half this amount, aist they never got the above. I am pretty sure that I am correct, have not got time to research my statement, as I have to travel back to work. All you brilliant people keep the posts coming, it gives me a lot of reading when I get home, mentioning home, my wife and myself move in to our new home on the 9th of next month so I want be posting until I get everything set up. I hope some of you looked at BDR,VMS, & AVB they have given my portfolio a great boost, BDR & VMS, will have their DFSs released in the next week or so, also AVB should have some very good copper drill results released maybe this week. PDYOR. Cheers Simmo. .

Hi. abner. Refering to the PBMR, I was watching sixty minutes on TV roughly about 2 to 3 years ago, when the chinese called in the world media, the interview and demonstration started like this. There was a chinese man sitting in a chair on the turbine floor tossing this black pebble up and down and catching it, the world media were confused because they did not know what was going on, then all of sudden he threw it into the floor and got his hand under it, they the media were still confused, then he made a staement through a interpreter, that what he had just done was smash a Uranium pebble into the floor the media was taken aback to that statement, but then it was explained not to be worried, then the show had a time lapse, how long I dont know. Then a statement was made, that for the last couple of hours the power station was in meltdown, well you should have seen the reaction of the media, they shite themselves, then it was explained that this new process of U and new reactors could not meldown, it was safe. So what I am trying to say is that they the chinese have perfected this method of producing power. I cant remember if the oz sixty minutes covered this story, or it was the american show. It was a great story. Hope this answers you queries about anybody trying to perfect this technology. KirbieCat, I believe you are correct. Cheers. Simmo.

Hi all. I made a statement last week that if extract reached $10 again, that I would sell out because i want to retire, to be honest with you all I ended up disposing of 10,000 shares at the close of trade that day, and disposed of, just on 50,000 the next day @ $8.50 aist I purchased back 10,000 the next day @$7.50 and purchased another 20,000 @ between $6.42 & $6.47 so I am reasonably happy, because it allowed me to purchase a substantial amount of BDR. AVB & VMS, which have appreciated very nicely. The story of EXT is still a great one, and my aim is still to sell @ $10 for the rest of my EXT. This following link still gives EXT a great mention aist the analyst believes that Rio may make a move on us now that the S/P has retreated. Global X Funds have increased their holdings to 1,368,748 which = 4.88% of their portfolio. URANIUM STOCKS IN A POST EARTHQUAKE MARKET http://www.bnn.ca/News/2011/3/18/Uranium-s...ake-market.aspx After you click on for the interview, there will be a advertisement, wait for about 20 seconds and it will start it goes for about six and half minutes. I would like to thank everybody for their great contributions to this thread, keep up the good work. Cheers. Simmo.

Hi all. There is one thing I realise now, if we had not, had that bid in for Kalahari, Ext would be a lot lower, and I reckon about $6 bucks might have been reached. If we have a major selling, we should have a change in a shareholder notice lodged with the ASX and it will be the same on the buying side, if someone has disposed of, or purchased 3% or mopre shares. The selling should cease shortly or maybe the shares are being shorted. I still hold, and in saying that if they get back to $10 I will sell, as I want to retire. Good luck to all. Cheers. Simmo.

cassell32. The results in this release speak for themselves. This company will have a great resource within the next six months, imho. Serre Verde. Hole ASVD-02 @ the pedro prospect (within the boundaries of Serra Verde) has intersected 7.23 Mtrs of primary copper sulphide (chalcopyrite) from 72.87 Mtrs and a further 0.75 Mtrs of primary copper sulphide (chalcopyrite) from 90.45 Mtrs. Rio Verde`s. Current drilling programme, rigs have drilled 14 holes, early results have returned significant copper values in all holes, with most holes containing similar high grade copper intersects as reported from the 2010 drill programme, moreover, core logging continues to record high concentrations of Chalcocite in recently completed holes this is considered highly encouraging with strike lenght remaining open in both directions. These results released on the 2/3/2011. 2.10 Mtrs @ 9.21% Copper from 38 mtrs. 1.0 Mtrs @18.83% """" "" 57.4 mtrs. 0.8 Mtrs @ 18.98% """ "" 62.0 mtrs. Hi all This is from The Sunday Herald Sun. Mark Goulopoulos from Patterson`s Securities. EXT is a Hold. Although the S/P has moved up strongly over the past few months. Shareholders should hold for possible Corporate activity. Well blow me down, finally one of the brokerage firms that write for the paper have mentioned EXT. Beerbaron A great post as is the norm for you. It will certainly be a interesting day tomorrow. heres hoping there is more news from Japan, and that news is good regarding the reactors, the S/P I should imagine will suffer, and hopefully only by the smallest of margins, then again the big boys may stop out a few of the uneducated. Fingers crossed. Cheers. Simmo.

abner29 A very good story. And that is one of the reasons I have sunk a lot of cash in BDR. IHB that this company will be in the eyes of predators, if not already. Hi Mark. The explosion at the nuclear power plant, is not as bad as first reported, it was the turbine that exploded not the reactor, and the power station has used sea water to cool the reactor. The evacuation has taken place as a extra precaution, which is justified as far as i am concerned, they still have concerns that the reactor could melt down. This news was reported on Prime television a tv station that has Australia wide coverage. I just hope this report is correct. The reactor in question is over 40 years old, which was mentioned as well. The story and picture in the link below, is the Turbine exploding, not a reactor as reported, here`s hoping that it does not eventually go the way as falsely reported here. http://ninemsn.com.au/?pc=CPNTDF Cheers Simmo.

Hi all. With world markets falling, and Junior U explorers s/ps also falling, it will be a bonus for EXT as these juniors find it harder to raise cash to bring their future projects to fruition.

Uranium stocks - a two-speed market
Robin BrombyFrom: The AustralianMarch 11, 2011 3:00PMA BAD day on the markets sorts out the juniors. And today has been bad one, with this week’s flight from base metals and stalling of precious metals prices compounded overnight by New York’s fall, the combination obviously scaring investors in the junior sector. The nervousness was particularly marked in the junior uranium sector. You know when investors are worried because liquidity quickly dries up with the unloved stocks. Get out now or be trapped is the thinking. (It hasn’t helped that the uranium spot prices has eased this week.) So today we have seen a company like Top End Uranium fall 17.3 per cent to 9.1c on tiny volume. [/color]But give them a story they really like, and the investors will come to the party even on a nasty day like today. So Manhattan Corp managed a rise of 21 per cent this morning to $1.15 on news of a 65 per cent resource increase at its Double 8 uranium project in Western Australia. With 7800 tonnes of contained U3O8, Double 8 now rates as 20th in size in terms of reported uranium resources in Australia. It’s not just the metal in the ground, of course: Manhattan is run by Alan Eggers who built the highly successful Summit Resources on the back of an impressive uranium resource (the only problem there being that SMM has its assets in Queensland, which is in a state of denial about nuclear power and won’t allow the deposits to be mined). Those are the two extremes. In between you get companies such as Uranex which yesterday announced what it described as excellent mineralogical test results from its Mkuju project in southern Tanzania. Fat good it did them: the stock was down 1.9 per cent and then slid another 5.8 per cent today. Ditto experience for newcomer Alligator Energy. On Wednesday we saw the news that assays from the Northern Territory showed grades up to 10m at 0.831 per cent U3O8 and 0.5 grams/tonne gold. The stock dropped 8.5 per cent on the news, lost another 4.65 per cent yesterday and eased a further 2.44 per cent today. And then you get a stock like Whitehorse Energy. This company has been getting a good shove from Foster Stockbroking, which is very keen on WHE’s uranium and underground coal gasification projects in Hungary. The stock was up a fraction today, but it has been quite a ride for shareholders. A 52-week low last July of 2.1c, a 67c high last month, easing to 59c on March 3, and then downward to 49.5c today. Uranium stocks are not an easy to market to follow at present, and it is difficult to find any convincing trend. Skittish may be the word – and perhaps it’s a five-speed sector, or even six-speed, rather than two. brombyr@theaustralian.com.au The writer implies no investment recommendation and this report contains material that is speculative in nature, investors should seek professional investment advice. The writer does not own shares in any company mentioned. Cheers. Simmo.
